Why dont you hire one if its just for a few weeks hols......i noticed a place near me the other week hiring them out at reasonable rates.

Great little topic this it would be good to see some more pics or better still a bit of video i find them fascinating,i remember when i first got into this hunting lark i thought you had to snarl and hate on all quarry but ive realised over time hunters can do the job needed but still be very respectful and even admire their quarry and it changed my outlook on hare,s in particular they are some athletes im after a taxidermy piece at the moment......good on you Mr Tiercel for bringing this subject to light its really interesting.

The flip side to this coin is would you class any soldier who refused to go 15 rounds with Joe Frazier a coward ?........because believe me very few human beings would stand toe to toe with Joe Frazier for 45 minutes even if they had the necessary skill/ability to.......or are we to just assume that they would because they are soldiers !!

I think folk tend to get a little bit over eager with their comments when it comes to icons......i just liked the way the man boxed im not particularly interested in all the rest so is he a hero to me of course he,s not but that doesn't mean i dont recognise the accomplishments he made in life......i dont really understand how anybody can use some of the words they use about a man they never ever spoke to it reeks to me of this big brother type scenario where we make judgement on someones entire persona based on what we see of them on the telly !

Maybe if you spoke to people like a grown up you would be spoken to like a grown up As regards all this " fight for his country " and " should of stood shoulder to shoulder on the battle field " .....he would never have been allowed to fire a shot he was the heavyweight champion of the world do you think he would of been slung in the trenches with an M16 ?......my father was in the Raf during the second world war but wasnt allowed to do any more than instruct pe as he was a professional athlete........Ali was making a point he wasnt dodging a war.....i have no real opinion either way on

Just with Premier League goals really...i dont think he,s far behind Rooney with less matches played....and he wasnt a penalty taker whereas im pretty sure a good 50 of Rooneys goals were from the spot......when you consider Cole,s scoring record includes spells at clubs like Fulham,Pompey,Newcastle etc it has to be a tougher proposition than having the quality of Scholes/Beckham/Giggs etc lining opportunities up ?.....i think he was a better goal poacher than Rooney im not sure how Rooneys scoring record would of faired at smaller clubs.

Its a tricky one......they would say they have ambition.....most would say they lack loyalty........if they go down i think its probably fair enough to bin him but what he achieved last year should at least earn him the right to the entire season.

Purely out of interest as i had the conversation with someone the other day.......would you book Rooney as a better goal scorer than Andy Cole....or not ? My argument was that Cole scored 5 or 6 less than Rooney has but in about 50 games less and only 1 was a penalty......plus he didnt have the likes of Scholes and Giggs feeding him for many of those goals.

He kicked the f**k out of it of course. Whats the sp with regards to lifting dead wildlife anyway i was under the impression there was some highways law that said your not allowed to just do a runner with a corpse ?......course me being a good law abiding citizen i just accepted that.

In many ways you have to admire lads like Rooney they give up on education to pursue their sporting dreams,make the necessary sacrifices re going out on the piss etc....then as teenage sporting stars we stick them in front of a tv camera firing questions at a kid who can barely spell his own name making him blush in embarrassment......so he go,s away on a self improvement mission and learns how to articulate himself and communicate correctly......like you say giving to charity and still getting slated just because he,s worth a fortune....i know a few millionaires who wouldnt give you the steam

You know exactly what im on about....you are not a football fan so to you he is just a random celebrity.....where did you get your information on him from the newspapers ?......hence you do have interest in celebs and are happy to make judgement on them.
