  1. Eh ? They are talking about a straight boxing match of course the boxer is up to it lol McGregor knocked out one of his opponents in one punch, has Mayweather ever done that? Did he do it with boxing gloves on or little 4 oz mitts ?....did he knock out a man from a boxing stance or mma ?.......has Mayweather ever kicked a man ? Ask people who have experienced fight sports you,ll get one answer.....ask people who have just watched fight sports on telly you,ll get a completely different answer its apples and oranges mate. Gloves don't make any difference, if you get hit
  2. maybe not vast but think he got carried out on few micky duff undercards, , iv a few vids of nash he looked well untill he got hit You piss off i was knocked down many a time but never out cold competitive or sparring.
  3. Mcgregor throws lots of kicks....have you ever tried throwing a kick at a target thats 6 inches away from you ?.....he WANTS distance because he fights off the opponents momentum the Aldo ko being the perfect example......wait for the lunge, half step back and time the momentum......its pretty basic stuff that he does very well BUT.....a boxer wont allow him that space...........Mayweather is a phenomenal defensive fighter who has fantastic instinctive reactions but from 6 inches not 6 feet......hence he wont give him 6 feet. You keep saying Mcgregor wont let Mayweather do his thing......wh
  4. " isn't far behind "....its not even close !......they are the complete opposites of each other in every way mma fighters are looking to create space boxers are looking to close space down the footwork is completely different the movement and mentalities are completely different infact the only thing similar is giving and absorbing punishment its like comparing cricket and tennis because they both use a bat and ball ! Personally i dont think Mcgregor would have the power in a boxing ring his punches are all about timing and reacting off his opponents momentum he would be lost fighting up clo

  6. Why would an mma fighter want to hold distance in a boxing contest he cant kick or take down ?.......how do you know Mcgregor is capable of fighting a boxer in close where the referee will call break if he clinches ?....thats why its ridiculous the reasons for doing things are completely different.

  9. At what ? ....darts ? tennis ? They want to fight each other. Yes but at which sport ?....you are aware that sports have rules arent you ?
  10. At what ? ....darts ? tennis ?
  11. So do you think Conor Mcgregor knows something about boxing that Pacquiao,De leHoya,Castillo,Moseley,Alvarez,Cotto etc etc didnt know about boxing ?
  12. Its like asking who is best at laying bricks between a brickie and a plasterer......then saying right ok now lets see whos best at plastering !......its all just a little bit silly.
  13. I can well believe that, I bet the adrenaline rush of a first contact is insane, it wouldn't be surprising if it was very addictive in a strange way. I also wonder if some/many cases of PTSD is caused by the comedown of returning to 'boring' civilian life rather than just traumatic experiences....is it possible that exposure to massive adrenaline surges does something to people when taken out of that environment? I've worked with loads of ex military guys often paras, marines and especially French foreign legion, as someone who has never been in the military but very interested in history
  14. I think Mcgregor is a very charismatic and likeable lad its not difficult to see why he has risen in popularity so quickly......but ultimately he is just a fighter.......he is the best stand up boxer type i have seen in that sport but he is still light years away from Mayweather.......put him in with a top 10 rated boxer and see how he fairs before taking the public for idiots and creating a huge fighting event based on 1 mans fighting prowess and the other mans charisma.....my bet is he wouldnt be competitive with any top 10 boxer let alone one of the best ever.
  15. First things first very sorry for your loss......however do you not think this woman could be taking advantage of your grieving ?.....for what reason i dont know.....but when you say she knew stuff nobody apart from your brother knew how do you know she was telling the truth if nobody can confirm what she said ? I only ask because i had a similar scatty old woman on my earhole some years back my guard was down and she seemed to have all the answers it was only when my head had cleared i realised that i was the one who gave her them answers in the first place !.....what these people get out
  16. Hopefully they never meet as it would be the beginning of the end for both sports.........if they did meet it wouldnt even be competitive.

  18. Oh ok i thought Andy Mcnab was supposed to be the bee,s knee,s of the guerrilla warfare world its not really something that interests me so was the only name ive heard of in that game.....my mistake.
  19. Surely its the sort of thing that unless you experience something to make you believe otherwise your just going to think its a load of ol bollocks.....hence to me its a load of ol bollocks !
  20. I agree it doesnt need another law it just needs harsher sentances for any type of assault verbal or physical against doctors/nurses......some poor little girl trying to help you out getting shit pay for doing a hard job and on top of that has to put up with abuse....id chuck the book at them.
  21. Must admit this topic does put me in mind of that horrible scruffy little f****r off Last of the Summer Wine ! ......we,ve all done the Jack the lad bit at some point in life it seldom gets this type of reaction though.... everyone sitting round with bated breath waiting to see if a bloke gets a bit of fanny
  22. Complete plum !...had the bollocks to back up his words though unlike many of his followers who drop challenges and run never to be seen again !.....be a shame if the lad doesnt sort himself out and start competing again theres nothing worse than leaving questions unanswered in sport.
  23. Did his crime and did his time whats to talk about....apart from serving 20 odd years too long maybe. His song was only sung at footie to goad ol bill nothing to do with making a hero of the bloke.
  24. Even on the good ol www its easy to see the folk who have " done a bit " as they say....from the people who have read an Andy Mcnab book ?
  25. gnash ive hung out the back of better bits of fluff than her , its the tits thing coupled with the boots , if she was singlle prob loose appeal but 3/4 legnth boots is a tipping point lol Oh well in that case.... life dont get better than knee length boots on a slim sort with big bristols......think your missing a trick here though you might be pig ugly with zero personality for all i know but im sure your culinary skills would be a tempter for any woman ?
