What annoys me about something like this is the simple fact that a respected football manager has been penalised for achieving !....lets have it right shitty 2 bob managers like Allardyce,Hughes,Pardew etc are rewarded year in year out with great contracts at clubs for winning absolutely f**k all yet Ranieri achieves the impossible and is punished for it.....had Leicester finished 17th last year instead of champions he would still be in a job now it just go,s against everything sport should be about.

I was in the away end at Everton when we got beat, 3-0 I think in the fa cup, two scousers stood behind us telling us we were gonna get stabbed at the end of the match, must have been about 75, I remember I had my school jumper on, Pringle black crew neck lol We didnt by the way but they ran us to the train Cheers, D. You wore a Pringle to school ......flash f****r you,d of had trouble holding onto that at our school

Lanesra is right Arsenal are probably the second biggest club in the premiership and also probably the second richest yet they are not even competing to win domestic honours,i remember when the pro and anti Wenger split was around 70/30 in favour now its 70/30 against and rightly so.....he has far too much power at that club but thats what comes with a board who dont understand football ive said for years the only time Wenger will be off is if they dont qualify for the Champions League.....Kronke isnt bothered about competing and they are a club with nothing but contempt for their fans as they

Ive had the absolute shit kicked out of me at the footie as a youngster where ive had mates apologise a few days later for leaving me because their arse went and describing how my head was bouncing off the floor etc......there was nothing fair about terrace culture you made your name when you went against the odds not steaming in mob handed against 1 or 2 i had a kicking outside the old City ground just me and 2 mates with a good 12 -13 Forest fans getting into us but i guarantee they went home with more respect for West Ham than we,ve ever had for Forest.....no you wouldnt carry on giving it

Spurs/Millwall thats going to get messy !

It's a few years ago now but if I remember correctly Benn beat Watson fair and square and was robbed against Eubanks. Benn V McClelland put IMO Benn up there with the greats. JMHO. Think you mean Watson beat Benn fair and square and was robbed against Eubank........which i wouldnt disagree with....the second fight he was way out in front and only needed to hear the final bell to win. Shocking to hear this car jacking stuff stone me Chingford is hardly the Bronx its been his home for the last 25 years as well its not like nobody knows him there......so wouldnt surprise me if they tar

Lovely,i think it might of been you Marshman who helped me get a little Jack Russell for an old boy close to me a few years back,he had not long lost his wife and pretty much given up on life.......every time i see him now he,s got a little glint in his eye again the dog is attached to him day and night im sure its put another 5 - 10 happy years on him.....i think sometimes folk who work dogs can forget the value of basic companionship that dogs can offer.

The worst thing ive found about ageing is people pissing and moaning about ageing !.....i get it if your in your ,s as there cant be much to look forward to but f**k me 40,s 50,s 60,s is just like the equivalent mileage on a car ok you start needing a few adjustments big deal but if your ready for the knackers yard then you should have kept your service history up

Of course little Timmy can go to the match with his dad thats normal boyhood memories i remember going with my ol fella and i remember taking my own son......but as my father prepared me and as i prepared my son for what its like at the football nothing came as a shock. If you want the Rugby culture go to Rugby......if you want the footie culture go to footie its simple decisions we make in life.... football is far safer than it was when we was kids so if little Timmy scares easy maybe his father needs to teach him a thing or two about life.

A Wolves fan ive known for years sent me a text after the game saying " f**k it at least we wont have to play Millwall " Shame for Wolves they just ran out of steam in the end.

Good post that mate i think all things considered the main firms probably all came out about even in the end obviously we all think our own was best i follow England to tournaments its always enjoyable having a laugh with lads you was standing toe to toe with years before sharing memories and ribbing each other about who was best its all part of the camararderie of terrace culture......a top 5 would be difficult id just list the ones i remember having a healthy respect for who would usually stand and have it with us regardless of numbers and thats Millwall,Chelsea,Wolves,Pompey,Cardiff,Birming

The Fa Cup aint what it used to be though is it

Late 70,s to mid ,s was my time mate it was an enjoyable few years i used to get bollocked by the older high profile lads for not taken it seriously enough they wanted to run things like an army unit but i was just a young lad having a laugh.......besides which i love my footie too much once they started dishing out banning orders i was out of there it would of killed me to get banned from footie grounds whereas the true hardcore football hoolies didnt care, hence most of them have probably not been in a football ground since ! Just out of curiosity was you even alive during this era you cla

Didn't see the game but im well pleased for Lincolns manager Danny Cowley he,s from round here and been all round the non league teams Concord Rangers to Braintree and now onto a big club like Lincoln .....smashing result for him/them.......just sitting holding my breath praying for Leicester to score i dont think i could take Millwall getting to Wembley again !

Whats different is todays football hooligan is simply trying to live up to a past reputation but its simply not in their hearts today......at West Ham for example we still often hear the Icf roar go up at away games and for those of us who were around in those days we just look at each other with a smile knowing most of the kids singing it would have it away on their toes lively as its just not the culture to stand and fight for your manor anymore we live in a much softer more forgiving family type of culture today at football.....back in the 70,s and ,s we had some handy lads down at West Ham

I do apologise Newkid i hadn't seen this so forgive my manners. Really kind of you mate and thanks for thinking of me but ive probably got them both tucked away in black bags somewhere my brother had near enough every home program going back to his first season and gave them all to me when he stopped going about 10 years ago,i dont collect them religiously but at the end of a season always put them away with the rest. Funny that the Liverpool one there in 75 was my first season going on my own,we won the Fa Cup that year and won it again 5 years later i thought i was a fan of a big clu

I might be wrong Pesky so maybe you can tell me but the hey day of the culture in England was the 70,s and ,s whereas in Scotland it was the 90,s ?.....ive chatted with lads at England games before who followed English clubs in the 70,s/80,s but then attached themselves to a Scottish club in the 90,s purely for that reason does that sound right ?

Im not going to sit here glorifying all that shit as its something we all grow out of even though it seemed like fun at the time......but if your going to quote details then best you get them right ......and that night at Lansdowne Road wasnt even about football hooliganism
-
What......like Lansdowne Road .....even your own ol bill got in trouble for thinking there was nothing to worry about
-
Nobody is saying they wasnt drinking,so what if they were......what im saying is they just dont understand the culture of what football hooliganism was all about......back years ago if id seen a Millwall fan wearing a gumshield, sports get up and doing pre fight warm ups id of rolled round the floor in hysterics !! Im sure they are a very tasty outfit who would of given anyone problems....but the reality is they havent got a clue what it was about or why we was doing it.....meeting in a field for a 10 on 10 fight go,s against everything the culture was about !
