    the atmosphere looks good and it is a light hearted affair. just the way it should be. and used to be. stig a quid is never wated at a hunt show. i even show the odd plummer at hunt shows/terrier club shows. to help build up there coffers

    sounds like your to early to me . take the dog away from the bitch for a day then try again. or she will get tender and cantancerous. . give him a couple of tries and if no joy. then do the same again. i think your maybe that eager for this mating that you are to soon to often.     the biggest hare ive seen in fortyodd years i saw last week in between biggar and peebles. this beast was a monster. i thought it was a roe at first glance. real good to see such a fine looking animal. wish i had my camera with me.

    who the dam and sire to that bitch? i will find a picture to a bitch out of one the first litter ss sired to silkcut lady when i get a minute ive no idea paulus. i was shown all the pics ect, but to be honest i was more interested in the big black stupid looking lurcher pup . ive a pic of the dam somewhere i'll try and find it when i get five minutes

    i agree. and if you dont check how do you learn if the dog is 100%. as you only have the dogs word for it. and even though it finds regular that dont mean its not missing the occasional one

    this bitch is sooty sam bred. its the dam of my lurcher. kindly sent to me by the breeder. she certainly is the adeal sort for breeding smaller lurchers. if i remember rightly she is a grandaughter of sooty sam . sorry for the poor quality .pic. i thought it would be of interest to this thread. as for whippets they are gay. just like there owners.

    i like a dog to run through . we have had a couple of terriers that would mark from the top and they where never proved wrong. even though we used to run a little jack through if we thought it waranted it. the reason i like a dog to run through is down to me having a few poor dogs over the years. and this has left me miss trusting. a good experienced terrier will miss very little if anything. and can save a lot of time i just like to be double sure
