    good luck with the show. my first russells where bred down from pytchley hunt terriers they where tiny. one was to small to show in the unders at the sjrtc shows. and the minimum hight was nine inch tts she was a vicious we batsard and her mother was worse. i got first and second in an unders class and then they took hold of each other and i had to walk out of the ring and take them and stick there heads under water to part em.

    ive a few terriers and my best bushing terrier is 15 inch. not saying the guy is wrong just that i have experienced different.

    i would go with the smoker. and a multi catch system. i would also consider calling in the experts. there are some very experienced lads that keep rat packs that could thin them down for you before you start pre baiting to catch whats left. remember there is a serious health risk around homes. and if you cant shift em call in the profesionals. good luck

    why take a dog that is showing an underbite as a pup. why not get a good work bred terrier without this fault. are quality bred working terriers getting that rare that you need to start with defected stock. i would also say that unless its bad it shouldnt effect its ability in any way what so ever. but if it is bad it could lose teeth a lot easier . i know there are plenty good dogs with faults. but surely there is enough sound stock about so that you can try to keep good quality animals and try to breed these faults out. not fix them in to your chosen breeds.

    if someone found a dog that was untried and went back to say. old brightmore stock or some other top working stock then i wouldnt hesitate. and i would have to join a que i reckon.

    that would depend on he size of the spoon, and i would agree with the above. if it was about putting shit into a line. like poodle into beddy. but we are talking good breeding. whats to say potentially the crap bitch just didnt respond as well to the system used to enter her as well as the other, and if entered differently would have made better. or the upbringing/ enviroment suited one better than the other. . if your line had suffered due to a bad outcross or something and you found a terrier going back to stuff you had when your line was better suited. say an untried pet. would you ga

    the problem with that is he one that has heart inherited it. but may not be able to throw it. the one without heart was bred the same and although it isnt showing it it could be he one that throws it.
