so you would like to do away with true working type dogs? dogs that have helped people hunt for food and control unwanted pests for thousands of years. dogs and people have had a relationship since people started using wolfs for hunting. hunting dogs are mans real best friend and represent thousands of years of tradition and you would get rid of them just like that. THATS WRONG.Its tradition in NI for the marching bands to give catholics the finger every year, tradition is not the be all and end all , I dont like anything that is cruel, tradition or not. you could say its cruel to take a li -

you would be wise not to stand against them. and you would be even wiser to throw your weight behind ALL. fieldsports. united we stand divided we fall. i have been hunting with guns and rifles many times. with serious and competent shooters. as well as your average lads that do a bit at weekends and i can assure you that the cruelty issue is no different .with either dog or rifle. the man behind the gun or dog. is the difference between cruelty and humane. your comments are nothing short of disgracefull . i could regale you with horrible tales of foolish shooter/ over eager shooters/ an -

the problem i have with the work/pet scenario is the input from the rest of the family. whilst it can be good for them and your dog. its not so good if the terrier doesnt make the grade. moving on your partners best pal can be a harrowing experience .

sounds to me like you need a vet ASAP. its hard for anyone to help as they cant see the pup. you have two choices. 1 get it to the vet and pay the extra. or 2. wait it out. untill tomorrow. its your call. no one else can make it. hope it works out for you -

Foxes Or Rather A Lack Of Them

Well I am afraid that not everyone understands it that way, some people seem to think shooting a fox is some kind of sin punishable by summary execution, only a dog may harm a hair on his noble head,I completely agree that all animals should be left to breed and I certainly don't shoot any until the cubs are fending for themselves, for fear of shooting a vixen with cubs at milk,of course nobody wants to see an end to the fox, least of all me,and I wish the hunting ban could be repealed tomorrow, and as for lurchers well I love them and I can say hand on heart that I can train to a very high stand -
