    You cant get any further south than I am today,africa is 17 kilometers away or there abouts.I popped over there last week,took 35 minutes.

    Spent yesterday at what is or was probably europes biggest party,my mates were paid to drink all day and watch footie,I sat and drank orange and topped up the tan today is 34 degrees,bright blue sky,heat shimmering off the pavements swanning around in flip'flops and shorts,I always enjoy work on days like this Met several people earlier this week who are paid better than average salaries to live in the sun and watch FOOTIE they are odds compilators and statisticians for bookies,one complained to me he had to watch 3 matches in a single day

    Got a nephew doing it at the moment mate,I think his exam is 23´rd of this month though he is thinking of deferring it as the legislation section is proving difficult for him to grasp.

    For some guys their real education begins when they leave school Dont want either of my kids to struggle in any way shape or form,one wants to be a doctor or dentist,the other vacillates between Vet or Diver,something tells me both will do ok

    Its all relative to your earnings,the more cash your getting the more on average your going to spend,in Puerto Banus a week or so ago its 9.50 euros a pint in some places,theres guys who make a chunk of cash,i really do mean a chunk certainly enough to buy a couple of home counties houses,in a short space of time and spend it equally as quickly,easy come easy go for certain groups of guys,for me its always been cash is difficult to earn easy to spend so reign in the purse strings,some guys are a lot more flambouyant,just depends on their mindset,lifestyle and surroundings.

    In Gib at the minute hanging around for Gib day on saturday,was out with a guy last week who works in offshore betting,he spunked over £2000 at Roulette in just over an hour,then went over the border to a house of ill-repute where he spent maybe 600 euros?

    Your mate probably fished somewhere like Bungsam lan TOMO,loads of places most westerners dont get to see never mind fish,if he had went to some of the mekong backwaters etc its unspoilt,he should have just done what I did,take his own rods and kit and headed off away from the commercial fisheries.

    Check out the bottom line of that newspaper article,it tells of the world angling record catfish at over 600 Lbs,thats a siamese catfish I think,my arm and pec cramped up after my first days fishing in Thailand for cats,I was getting 20,30,40 Lbers a cast.

    The Ebro is getting just like an overfished commercial UK carp lake on some sections,everyones fishing it with Halibut pellets,I am in spain at the moment,dont know how long for,a week,a month or till december,plans are fluid,but I spoke to an english guy who caught a 120kg siamese catfish on the mekong,he said that was the mother of all fights,I have had them up to 70+ Lbs,and hope to be back in Thailand at the end of the year,anyone gets the chance its a far,far better freshwater fishing venue than Spain is.

    Friend of mine was burgled in west london a couple of years back,thief took a decent amount of a distinctive foreign currency,coppers said they would come out next day to fingerprint My mate went into the local high street to the bureau de change and asked had certain currency been traded,yes indeed and less than 2 hours before they had the CCTV My mate told the coppers but they said circumstantial,this was the next day when they turned up to take fingerprints Wheres CSI when you fu%%ing need them Could be worse,once saw a corpse in the Philippines,guy had been shot dead the night before,

    Had a gut buster earlier at O´reillys in Ocean Village Marina,sausages,eggs,beans,saute potatoes,fried mushrooms,beans and loads of toast,fed my toast to the shoals of mullet swimming under the pontoons.
