    A kill's a kill in my eye I don't do it for sport more pest control that allows me to access land for shooting paper targets (I use the excuse of "I have to make sure the combo is zeroed! but really my sport is destroying bulls eyes) If I were to shoot bunnies for sport' I'd say young uns were more sporting as they have a smaller brain thus greater accuracy is required Phantom

Never heard of the Cobra The Sidewinder however was a dream, only shot one a few times but I managed to outshoot a "Seasoned" HFT shooter with it, the first time I ever picked it up he was trying to drop a metal knockdown using the Blackwidow carbine prototype.     Right, Just read the rest of the thread and I'm with you boys I know I am an accomplished Marksman, but it was only after reading a lot of Si's (ZINI's) posts that I began to stretch myself, like wurz, I wouldn't shoot past 30 yards because that was the range I was lead to believe was the max by the mags!     Fry, Every unregulated PCP has what is known as a 'power curve'. If you fill your rifle to the Max it states on the air cylinder then the hammer will find it harder to open the valve long enough for the correct amount of air to be released for optimum power. I can fill my rifle to 210 bar, but wont do it At the top end of the pressure curve you will find that every shot is very inconsistant in both velovity and accuracy As the fill pressure becomes lower (more acceptable for the hammer mech) more air is allowed out as the pressure does not close the valve prematurely, this is what is

    You could simply remove the springs and add a few baffles, along with hair curlers (no I'm not being funny) and a pad of Scotchbright Turns a reasonable silencer into a very good silencer There are a few threads on here about how we've done it. Phantom

    When you whack your woodie, dont try to carry it by the tail feathers For preperation, simply pluck the breast of feathers, then cut the breast from the where it joins the wing; then stick your knife (or stick) into the bird at the top of the breast to make a hole.
