  1. I'm not really; just done a fair few for people. I was studying the CIW in web-management and design; until they closed me down due to a previous business failure that lead to bancruptcy so I couldn't afford to finish the course I was that desperate to get off the friggin dole, I took an ill thought out business and dived in head first, chucking good money after bad, still it did get me off the dole for 6 years. 2. Erm..... Hang on there Darryl.... If I'm not mistaken you just got your "HOME SWEET HOME" back from Scannia Oh yeah Bill, I'm glad I wasn't eating or supping, cus that would surely have finished me laptop off  SPA as well! Phantom

  5. Very true They don't like it at all! I've never met a bird that likes anything blowing up their butt Get a UV marker pen and put a few flashes of it on the backs of the woodies Phantom
  6. Nice going there Ron SPA for being such a non productive person What kind of site are you building? Phantom
  7. Sorry Matt, I dont agree with all you say there buddy The bit in Blue; I and 99.999 percent of respectable decent hunters will agree with 100% However a sub 12 is perfectly capable of dropping a Pheasant when in season at nominal airgun ranges That has been proven time and time again by many hunters on here. May I draw your attention to this as advertised on this very forum: http://www.darcybooks.com/advancedairgun.html Phantom PS if anyone wishes to purchase this book for me as a late birthday gift, I'll PM you my address and give you a slut point on your next 100
  8. Choccy pellets Should be good for ratting Or just pigging
  9. Yep; it aint much to knock old bug's light out permanantly. I have heard theories from various people regarding the actual retained energy. Some say as much as 4ft/lbs others as low as 1/4 ft/lb. The thing is, you don't need to actually pierce the skin or break the skull A friend of mine described the skull of a bunny as a lightbulb wrapped in orange peel in one of his films, he also said the same in one of his articals for Airgunner Magazine. 10. Here you are buddy http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/141326-silencer-modifications/page__p__1431600__fromsearch__1#entry1431600 Of course bringing this thread back to people attention, will increasethe size of Riff's head again Phantom
  11. To give them to people down at the bottom of the post there is a little + sign in a green circle, click that and it awards a rep point to the author of that post. Sadly you cant give em to yourself or to the mods, but we all know their a bunch of tarts anyway so they don't need slut points Aint that right mods? To check how many you have, go to your page and erm..... Oh I'll check http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/user/48938-wullieh/ Well you young whipper slapper, you got 9 already Phantom
  12. I used the led projection red dot system on my pistol bow worked pretty well once I got the hang of it. Only problem was the 80lb prod used to shake the batteries out everyother shot Great for terrorising the old bitch coffin dodger next door  . Oh yeah I used laser dots on some of my pistols, hard to set up having three adjustment screws, but once don, they stayed zeroed for fast fire paper punching at 6 yards Phantom
  13. Nice going, Phantom
  14. That would make me the ultimate bunny ghillie suite that bag Phantom
  15. A Slut point is a reputation point :11: Trust me, its good to be a slut with a massive 'Reputation' I think Stealthy is probably the biggest slut here, but I'm trying like mad to de-throne the old slapper Phantom
  16. General shooting I would suggest Telescopic sights Especially if your going to be going after Woodies or even ferral pigeon and Rabbits. As Mushroom stated, a telescopic sight with an illuminated Mildot retical would be ideal especially in low light. Laser sights are good for indoor shooting for things such as rats where you know its a reletively short range and you need to aquire a target at speed. For shooting Ferral and Woodies in VERY confined areas (small barn, small wharehouse etc) I would go for the old open or TruGlow open sights. The Optical LED Projection sights are also
  17. Hi there, Are you talking about 'optical red dots' where the led dot is projected onto a glass screen? or are you talking about the "TruGlow" sights that have little optical fibres that collect light and make little bright spots at the end of them? or are you talking about "LASER" dots? May be a silly question, but many people confuse them and when I'm talking about one, they are talking about another type altogether So to help you I would need to know which 'Red Dots" you were talking about! Phantom
  18. Nice going there good chap Looking at the distorted head, you gave that 1st bunny the mother of all headaches superb shot I know what you mean about watching the bats A year or so back the council moved the one street light in out road that was right outside our gate and replaced it with two others, put at each end of the road. When I'm sat on a night unable to sleep, I often watch the bats from my chair in an almost 'Dog Fight' with the moths and other flying insects around the lamps. Sometimes they fly in and out and they seem to be a light orangish brown other times they fly in
  19. Good going gents Phantom

  21. My pleasure, It's what we are here for, helping each other out as much as possible, learning something new and teaching new things to others If I hadn't have been able to help, someone else would have done so Phantom
  22. Ah great, now I know what you mean I can explain After a while; usually many years a break barrel may become loose with wear and tear. The rifle barrel unit may also droop slightly for the same reason. The big screw, will allow you to tighten the joint again and it will also put the barrel back into correct alignment. The little screw at the side of that, is there just to prevent the main screw comming loose again. Hope that explains it for you Steve? ATB Phantom
  23. Do you mean like this?
  24. Pass! Never heard of one before What rifle are you reffering to? Phantom
