  2. Think most of us have had our camera batts die on us, usually just as we get a bag to be proud of! I've had both my cameras and my phone camera die on me just when I neededthem Still, you got a decent amount and I know what you mean about bunnies wising up to danger Getting to the point of one shot a night now in the cemy, they know what happens when they hear lead in head. Same as Pool Bank now and they'd not been shot at before. Bunnyland also dies a death after one or two shots now as well Keep at em though I will Phantom

  19. As Buster said, its not going to hurt or damage the stock You could go the way of my friend and use elastic bands. But I'd STICK to the normal way as it keeps it in place better. Double sided tape. Phantom
  20. Happens to us all buddy I know what you mean about stalking being hard work, I got into the cemetery the other evening and every footstep, was Crack, Crack, Crackles Its so dry that even the cut grass was making a noise! Had to get myself in position between the times they heard all the noise and the time they came back out. The local intruder alarm in the big old tree is the worst though as soon as one squakes the rest start and the woodies start flapping and then its dry for an hour at least most times. Phantom
  21. Morning Chris The only silly question, is the one you dont ask! As you say having a reg fitted gives you consistant power on a pcp. Tuning a rifle basically means having it smoothed out. Tuning can be anything from dampening the recoil of a springer to increasing the power, simply making the trigger mech more smooth and crisp is also classed as tuning. Its something that you can do yourself, like polishing up the sears, changing the lube for a better one or if you prefer not to do it yourself, get a smith to do the work for you, A&M seem to be the best as well as Sandwell F
  22. Not a name I'm familiar with, but its an excuse to open a can Happy Birthday :drink: Phantom
  23. What you giving it Jack, "not being perfect?" Actually placing the shot there and destroying the cerebellum is the most sure fire way of making sure they go down I think we shoot towards the centre of the line between eye and lug, simply because it gives a margin for error and it will decimate the brain. But I'd lay money on the fact that when you shot the bunny there, it went down without a twitch? and it probably just 'Rolled Over' rather than performing a final jump? A shot to be PROUD of that is and the whole story is well written, thoroughly enjoyable and very deserving of
  24. Hi Roger, As always, nice bit of shooting there Man you have some stunningly beautiful pests out your way, sort of reminds me of our Jay's Are they as big as I imagine them to be? SPA for showing us your range of pests Phantom
