  1. Jack, this may or may not help you out. http://www.gunspares.co.uk/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=24575&cat=HW95 Click the pic for a bigger image, or better still click the Print link! Phantom
  2. I use an S200 and use both (depending on my mood) the slip on silencer (heavily modded and darn quiet) and I have a unf adaptor for the S200 for when I like to use my UKNiel Silencer The adaptor was cheap, but having heard what you've said about having the barrel thread cut, I may go down this route myself later on Phantom
  3. FirstBlood are you for real? Encouraging the importation and use of illegal arms is just plain fecking stupid. Sorry, but we don't want people and we certainly don't need people like you in here  Well said Craig Phantom
  4. They do Aaron, Stunned but as soon as the adrenaline kicks in they wake up ruddy fast I remember a few bunnies that have gone down, leg waving g'nite then all of a sudden, up and off If you are going to do a spinal shot, its gotta be precise to sever the nerves that drive the beathing and motor functions. Not easy on a bunny, it helps using a .22 in that scenario a .177 as you know is smaller, therefore the margin of error increases if it moves or wind takes it half a mm off. If I were to shoot a bird from behind, I'd aim between its wings or the back of the head. Phanto
  5. Easy Aaron, You simply MISSED the spot Easily done when shooting a bird from behind a couple of mill either side of the spinal column and the bird will go down, but highly likely to get back up again. All it takes is for the woodie to move its head/neck and you know how they just hate to stay still for more than a second or so. Don't beat yourself up about it Aaron, its a wounding that at that precise moment you could not have done any thing about As Homer Simpson says "DOH - Stupid Bird!" Phantom
  6. Oh, give it plenty of time for any reply!! Mine took months and months
  7. The way I got my Cemetery permission was via email If you know the name of the club, email the secretery of the club, telling them that as you were walking past the course, you noticed a substantial amount of rabbits on the fairways/greens etc and you would like to offer your services as a pest / rabbit control officer to them free of charge. Explaine that you are insured and a SAFE & COMPETANT Marksman and that you will be using a silenced NON FAC air rifle if they wish to take you up on your offer, they have your email, give them your landline and mobile number and tell them yo
  8. At 10.8 at the muzzle .22 superdomes have 6.75 ft/lbs left at 30 yards and at 40 they have 5.77 ft/lbs It takes less than 4ft/lbs to drop a bunny. Actually I used my HW40 last week to put a bunny down granted it was Point Blank, but it only has an output of about 2.3 ft/lbs. It was an adult Doe that had gotten tangled in a wire. One shot in the brain and she was lifeless Phantom
  9. Hi there Nice shooting well done. SPA Phantom
  10. As Ron says, its barely worth the hassle of getting an FAC for those extra few ft/lbs What rifle do you have? if its a springer, then it will increase recoil, not really increase the lock time hence your accuracy may suffer even at lower range. A standard 12ft/lbs will do the job at normal ranges and a pcp with a pod (even without one if your steady enough) will allow you to shoot out to 45 or more if your good enough I'm now knocking over bunnies regularly at 55 to 60 meters using the pcp but wouldnt dream of trying that with a springer Phantom
  11. Another Local :welcomeani: to the forum buddy. As regards your quest: My best guess would be these people; however they don't have it listed. But if you ring them they are always very, very helpful and may be able to order you one in http://www.gunspares.co.uk/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=24877&cat=Spectre# Failing that; I would suggest you contact Webley themselves. They have had serious changes just lately and the boss is bringing them back to the standard that the Webley name is famous for, not like those two numpties that virtually ran Webley into the ground.
  12. We had someone recently and in the past, whose only posts were to sell "New guns, that had recently had a full service" Didn't last long if there are questions like you have then stay clear, unless of course he's a respected regular. Caution, is key As Buster says, get the number then ring AA for the history Phantom
  13. My pleasure Sir Your always welcome in here Phantom

  21. As Bill said, Congrats on the rugrat He wont stay that small for very long and before you know it, He'll be doing a Shannon and putting his old man to shame in the marksmanship league Good to see you didn't make the same mistake I did when our eldest was born (sold up!) Teach him well Nice shooting with the woody, shame about the squizzer though, would have made a nice pair of fur mittens for your boy over the winter months Still you could do the same with a bunny and make matching coat and booties Phantom
  22. Nice going again Roger They may be ugly birds round your part of te world, but they are certainly more colourful than ours and that red area around the eye would make a great aimpoint Phantom
  23. Just to stick my oar in, I'm having one of the NEW S16's sold no longer by Webley or Logun Today they are manufactured by Hatsan and are sold by Edgar Brothers and all the problems assosiated with the Logun version have now been ironed out apparently It also looks a lot meaner now Phantom
  24. I have about 15 to 20 lbs of recovered lead (from my pellet catcher and fishing weights) Looked at taking it into the scrap merchant. They would offer me pennies for a kilogram Yet a mate of mine took in some copper (not a large amount and walked away with £ Lead prices have fallen dramatically recently, but its gonna be a long time before we feel it as an end user. Wouldn't suprise me if its like the price of petrol, will go up and up and up, then drop a tiny amount then continue going up again . I used to buy my Geco's in bulk from JSR they were a good price, saved me £2.00
