  4. I made some to try out at 14" and found the drawback was the amount of twine that had to come of the needle to complete each half mesh and that had to be pulled through was taking too long to make a net. Y.I.S Leeview
  5. Janet, And anyone else who wants to contact me privately you can do so on irishgamefair@btinternet.com or on Facebook or give me a call. I find the PM on this forum a little restrictive in terms of space. Also I get a lot of people agreeing with me privately ( and of course disagreeing with me too!). But I do wish they would put their heads above the parapet and post publicly if they have something positive to say or even if they disagree but have constructive criticism as to how things can be done better. I think this could lead to positive debate that will actually get things done rathe

  21. jamesmc I make my own 71/4" and a 101/4" needles, the smaller needle holds enough twine to do 2 4'6" nets 24 rows shaped out to 18meshes and back down it will go through an 1" ring but I knit onto a loop for the simple reason I lock my meshes onto the ring to stop them seperating I'll try putting a picture up of 2 nets done from one needle and before anyone thinks I've done them on the larger needle I'll put a picture up of 3 nets done with the larger needle Y.I.S Leeview
