When we where out i was working up a hedge setting the nets and my son was following with the ferrets and then my mate with his gun . I said you got your gun handy there's a rabbit sitting in the cover straight in front of me and he couldn't see it so i talked him into where to fire bang one rabbit and it still had a big mouthful of grass LOL one unlucky rabbit
Oh happy days a farmer i shot /ferreted his farm for years and year just phoned , the guy i got put off for as he was paying for the shooting is no longer there LOL . Would i be interested in coming back ?. We where out last Saturday after a farmer moaned to a mate who has the shooting about the rabbit numbers they bolt really well we got 10 large rabbits and a got number of youngsters using 2" meshed nets , and as my son said if we have flattened the rabbits we got a load of ferret food and its no our permission LOL
I thought it was just cancelled last year due to the conditions and they called off the other two days due to the damage caused to the ground ?. its was horrendous like a swamp
I've got Hawke scopes on all my air rifles and one on the rimmy and never had a problem , if fact when my son dropped the air arms he did more damage to the gun than the scope
