Ive got a nylon one here but thing to watch is most gates have got bigger due to machines getting bigger now 18 feet , while older gate nets are only 12/14 or 16 feet and a bit extra wouldnt harm

I remember three mate and myself getting a deal and we bought 1000s of them i had a baikal i think it was choked full and full and after the smoke cleared if you had hit anything you really had hit it LOL and they where dirty cartridges the barrels needed a good clean

Its coming up to summer mate no get somebody to feed and clean them out for you and hopefully your back ready to use them next winter

Ive gave up easier to lamp with the rifle now and it helps keep the permissions

I bought a box i liked then made two the same so the son had the same as me and we had a spare but i couldnt get the bend correct so put blocks in the nail the back and sides too these two i made are a wee bit heavier and for what i paid for the wood etc i could of bought another two boxes but like my nets i like saying i made most of my gear

Im on a site called Uniform Benifits and a trail cameras just came up on offer from £89.99 to £17.99 just found out £7.99 delivery it might be good it might be crap but for that money im willing to try one

My hutches dont have seperate quarters i use differnt sized plastic boxes for beds depending on the number of ferrets in there i just cut down one side so they get in and out and load these up with shavings and just cover the rest of the hutch with a couple of inches of shavings some times they burrow into them sometimes it must be warm they sleep on the shavings outside the boxes .I find its easier to get rid of dirty shavings than bulky dirty straw

Always used shavings just a bit more in the sleeping quarters easy to get a big bale from a equine centre and there dust free . Never liked straw , hay etc anything with a hollow stem could harbour bugs and ferrets are bright enough not to eat shavings or remove them from meat i think

There was loads on the moors they still come up as the post above proves , we where on a shoot picking up pheasants at the larder and they had a shed load of traps
