I just use shavings if your bothered about the smell clean them out more and try red cedar shavings i got some from a joiners once and the overpower the ferret smell for a bit

Maybe no clean the barrel but what about the mod mine was filled with that much crap it was affecting it i took it off and cleaned the baffles ,But as said i dont think its dodgy ammo if your putting 4 on target your no subconciously pulling off target?.Theres too much a pattern for me 4 on then 1 off ?>

WE didnt have any chioce they brought it in as law , same as airgun licences try it out in Scotland first I really like the old wires they work 24/7 only real time is putting them down or pulling them walking round emptying them takes little time and the buzz of how many rabbits you get fires you up LOL

I miss the old wires when they changed the rules in Scotland i gave amate 1000 pegged snares and some fence snares when they wanted stops put in them i figured it would be easier to start making new one , them they bought out you need a licence for Scotland , i thought F**K it its only going to get worse

Ive got a nylon one here but thing to watch is most gates have got bigger due to machines getting bigger now 18 feet , while older gate nets are only 12/14 or 16 feet and a bit extra wouldnt harm

I remember three mate and myself getting a deal and we bought 1000s of them i had a baikal i think it was choked full and full and after the smoke cleared if you had hit anything you really had hit it LOL and they where dirty cartridges the barrels needed a good clean

I bought a box i liked then made two the same so the son had the same as me and we had a spare but i couldnt get the bend correct so put blocks in the nail the back and sides too these two i made are a wee bit heavier and for what i paid for the wood etc i could of bought another two boxes but like my nets i like saying i made most of my gear
