  1. Thinks he's a hard man, but really just a little queen. gets nervous before the Show season starts!!

  2. Countries f*cked ithink and i don't knowhow its going to get out of the quagmire its in. Problem being too many of the wrong sort in out tiny island. One example, a good mate of mine gets over £250 a week for him and his 3 kids, and more some weeks. He told me the other day that he cannot afford to get a job!!! I can see his point, whats the point in him getting a job earning a fiver an hour when he can draw £250 without leaving the house. We are all now reaping the crop of 13 years of Labour government sowing the seeds of a 'hand wringing' society with open floodgates and putting the wor
  3. Hawke scopes are cheap. But I do not believe they are well made.
  4. Marrajack, I agree with Moo. Harkilla are superb, had one or two in mine.,.....and its still here.
  5. Kinda tells the story for me..
  6. Ok, change your pellets mate. The pellets you are using are too tight for the apature IMO. I have had this with my lightening.
  7. Very. very well done. A good write up too....
  8. Secretagentmole, as long as you are getting out there. One day you might change your mind, but as long as you're happy. We all look for different things in life, and wouldn't it be boring if we were all clones... Good hunting....
  9. Get an old or 77. Buy a new spring and piston head and you're away. If funds become available in the future you could always do the gun up or trade it in for a better model. Avoid the cheapo crap asian makes. If you get a HW your'e buying quality, no matter what age.

    S200

Went out a bit later than usual tonight, this time with the S200 and a pocket full of Bisley LRG's. The sky was pastel pink and we decided to target three woods. The first was somewhere i had not shot for over ten years, but sadly there was only about ten magpies there. But god they were low down and just plain dumb! I managed to shoot five before they flapped away. Then dropped a big dirty old crow and a nice woodie too. On our way out of the wood we gave a tight drey a good shake and a big squirrel came bowling out to be given the last rites. The next wood i had been waiting to shoot since
  11. Nice shooting. Keep dropping those tree rats.
  12. brave..lol... When i get that trigger sorted this week im going to be braver!! the pup is a 3/4 grey x 1/4 saluki. Just 100% sighthound.
  13. someone said salukis ad tractability that bit is pants saluki ad alot but not that far from it ive got a saluki x he is what he is day time lacks the brains for an alrounder Well you've got your opinion old chap. And ive got mine.
  14. Being a devotee of saluki/greyhounds for many years i think the saluki blood adds loyalty and tractability to the mix.....As with most dogs, it's the owners narrow mind that limits the dogs ability...JMO.....
  15. I have never owned one but have used one, just didnt like it. Lots of hype when they first came out, but i would not swap one Falcon for 10 Loguns.... JMHO.
  16. It sure comes in handy to have one who likes feather. Some get more feather retrieves than fur....
  17. Good bag, Just watch out for your mirrors...
  18. Was out last night and managed to bag 7 woodies, no camera with me though. but back out tonight, the sky was so good it was undescribable. Pink and gorgeous. First bird was a big 'ol carrion and he came spiralling down to earth with a solid chest wallop!! Bisley LRG prooving lethal. Then onto a better wood where we managed to drop 7 fat woodies and i was very happy with my little dogs retrieving too. The HW77 is starting to feel more familiar, but i am still not happy about the trigger so have bought a new one. Custom stock will be here in a week so its all go.....Should look like a new gun b
