  2. Yep, same here Mal.....chancing gits.. Our headmistress sails very close to the wind in my eyes.. Expecially where 'Parental Contribution' as its called these days, is concerened. That and my favourite subject, which is political correctnes... Boils my f***ing blood. That is what we normally fall out about. One parent ojects to photography..no photography in the school..... One child has a nut allergy........no nuts in school.at all.........packed lunches searched everyday. One muslim child.........no nativity plays..no christian celebrations etc, etc... Children used to publish the po
  3. Better than getting someone elses socks and underpants! Is the new Defender, TD5 or TDI? Top choice of motor! Swampy. Nining @10:09 2.4 TDI 110 double cab..........Struggling to fit 4 dogs in to my 90!!

  6. Thanks Sue Youre up earlier than me today...........Dogs let me have a lay in this morning..
  7. I can lamp a fox at 400 + yards (not to shoot at.....before the arguments start) with my 140 lance.. A good lamp in my opinion. Especially if you can get the wiring to work....................... Never had the need for any more! For very close range, I use a tracer max off my rifle, but hand held. Also a good little lamp up to the 200 yard mark. And very light..
  8. Centre fire verses rimfire debate....... Not rearly a fare comparison. .20 tac is a good fox calibre, but overkill for long range rabbit IMHO. Assuming you can get your FEO to give you a centre fire for rabbit.... Also noise is a bit issue. For rabbits up to 100 yards, there is realy only .22lr. more bangs for your bucks. On calm days this range can be extended with a .17 hmr.But at a price!! Matty
  9. What are you thinking of using them for? They aren't going to be the most accurate piece of lead on the market. .22lr is better subsonic for accuracy. Subsonics are good for a hunded yards plus on rabbits.. Be interested to hear other opinions..
  10. The wife wont let me have pigs.............she gets too attached..... I suppose some people are like that with family though
  11. The main problem, is when there is digging required Suddenly daddies big boys................become Daddies lazy Sh**s
  12. As often as is practicable, but never to interfere with school work..they dont come lamping or stalking. They have been bought up around firearms, so pay little if any interest in rifles, air rifles or shotguns...it isnt a novelty to them. They are good shots with a rifle, but not at live game yet.. For me..........i'll wait abit..
  13. Yep....dogs for me every time... If I ever witnessed animal cruelty on this scale, its probably the one thing that I would do time for I would be happy to sacrifice my freedom to break /shoot some animal hurting w4nkers kneecaps...for sure.
  14. He said Heroes and Villans................not 'Laurel an Hardy'

Flipping heck Exactly the kind of costs im trying to avoid. Thanks for the reply though mate. £340??? Sounds like a bloody bargain to me. 17. As some of you will be aware......had a new puppy this year... Bess (Collie Whippet Grey) is doing just fine..now nearly 8 months old, and fitting in to the family realy Well... Some of you wil also be aware of the fight it took me to get my new lurcher ..............it was a battle of global proportions..... as we have got two more dogs as well... So ...............it was pay back time when last night i was told that my Lurcher needed a kennel companion....and that I was to 'pay for it'.......... Meet Phoebe... A very well bred German Shepherd bitch. The most expensive kennel
