  1. Yes you save money..I'm new to reloading, but cn allready see the benefits But you also have the advantage of added accuracy. I'll set you an example. Sako .243 90gr ammo. £23/20 or £115/00 If yo shoot fed prems 100gr £30/20 or £150/100 Home loads Hornady 87Gr BTHP £25/100 Large rifle primers £3/100 Vita Vhouri N140 £60Kg- should be good for 300+ rounds So approx £48/100 But hs is all top notch gear, you could buy cheaper.

Same here Mat thats why i have only had 6 dogs in the last 22 yrs as i have had my own house & could do as i liked, they stay till they either have to be pts or whatever I'm on my third in 20. Wifey has had 3 in 20. We currently have 3 dogs between us. 12years, 13years and 7months.
  3.    That makes me sick, something that bad tempered should be immediately pts, before it stains the carpet..

    sorry

I think a bit of money helps keep the buyers real..yeah. I understand that dogs get passed on too, but not from me. Personally, I get too attached, worker or not, pot filler or not, it stays. I'm too soft....My heart is bigger than my wallet.
  5. Getting out the house, sharing time with like minded people. Sharing the bag, sharing lunch..sharing the banter.
  6. What do you think is going to buy my new camera , he wont even know sssh dont shout he'll hear
  7. I had nearly a Grand last month. I mangaed to hide enough from the wife for reloading stuff... and paid for the new pup.
  8. Living in Scotland...doesnt give a beer lover much opportunity to partake. But when south of the border I like, in no particular order:- Theakston Best, Xb , OP Tetley's Wadworths 6X Black Sheep Thats all I can remember for now..
  9. I had a look at at sako TRG in a gun shop a couple of Months ago..It was in .338 Lapua. Very nice rifle.............not for the field like....but nice for its intended purpose.. :tongue4:
  10. Well, I've voted Sauer through brand loyalty..I have a classsic 202 in synthetic clothes .243. But I have never shot a blaser..I have heard good things about them though. Also, I never change barrels, and to be honest wouldn't. Matty

Yep, definately worth a visit. Went there in 2003. Great place in Summer, went back in Winter...even better on a snow mobile Will try and find some pics.
  12. I gave up smoking about 4 years ago...I feel that if you are ready to give up..you will. There is no point winding down, or just having one more or keeping some for emergencies.. It just dont work. Will power is the best..wanting to give up and willing yourself to give up. I sincerely wish you the best of luck..its the best thing I have done for my health for a long time.
  13. This ones currently in training for next season.. Bess. Whip/Collie/Grey 7months..Have high hope for her.
  14. Nice to see your still at it.... Wish I was....
  15. Er.....Not quite sure what you have spent your money on, because it doesnt cost me a thing.. Have opened an account at fileden.com? If not, thats the free, easy cheap way of doing it. If you need help, i'll keep you straight? Once you have saved your mp3 file to your file den account, you simply put a link to the file location or 'url' to the fileden account in your profile information page and voila.... Matty
  16. Sent from sitting on the sofa, butt naked apart from Boxer shorts, watching celebrity Master chef repeats, on my laptop with a BT internet connection.......... Well done good shooting.
  17. When my knees aren't giving excrutiating repremands Running, cycling (was doing triathlon) and Skiing. (oh the odd bit of hill walking too) Played Rugby up to university standard. Then got the shit kicked out of me on a regular basis..so took up squash
  18. Just like to introduce you all to Bess. 7 month old collie/grey/whippet. Picked her up today, cracking pup and a credit to her previous owner. Look out for her next season...for now..its continuation training.
  19. IMHO 1/2 and full is too tight for a general purpose gun. If I wanted an all round gun, I get a 28" or 30" M/C or have a fixed choke of no more that 1/4 and 1/2 Sporter or field not trap. But thats only my opinion.. Matty
  20. Agree, unless the AGS had the optimum magnificaton and objective, and he didn't have a comparible S+B of the correct mag/obj to offer. If that is the case then he was doing his job. AGS is ok, its not a bad scope.
  21. Assuming all of the above is ok, I would suggest that the crown on the rifle may be affected, as a result of a poor threading job. Matty
  22. For the equivalent magnification, and equivalent objective lense size..S+B. To give an example: AGS = Fiat S+B = Porsche Both do a job, but one does it better!!
  23. Fecking hope not, that is one of life's true endulgences..Fried Haggis with a decent breakfast...
