  3. If anyone has a shortage of meat and would like some rabbit for ferret/Dog/Raptor food, Please PM or call. Fridge is full, freezer is full and I havent got time to process it all for myself in to mince....I still have to shoot for pest control purposes and really dont want to waste the meat and the game dealer isnt currently buying... In return ...if someone has a large mincer and would like to process some with me....I'm happy to split the proceeds as I only have a small hand mincer . Either way............I'm happy to help someone with a defcit..
  4. I would change your settings.. I think its top right hand corner Its under "options" Display modes.....standard
  5. You would normally get them from your game dealer. Not sure where you get them on line. You would tag a carcass as declaration of inspection by a trained hunter, as being fit for human consumption. It provides traceability of meat entering the food chain.
  6. Lidl have a got a general purpose disenfectant on sale at the moment, for a couple of quid, which gives directions for the use on Kennels and dog runs, so it would be fair to assume that is safe for use.........and its cheap.
  7. Sounds dear to me, I'm paying £17 for 15kg in Dundee. Only use it when I run out of rabbits though.
  8. I did consider Bull finch............but the avatar put me off!
  9. I would tend to agree with John. I control rabbits all year round, but vary my methods accordingly. I haven't ferreted since March.. Had a farmer ring me yesterday asking me to ferret 1000 acres NOW, because he had been let down ......... But he was more than satisfied to accept a few lamping sessions until Autumn . Apparently the last sporstman pulled the plug cause he didnt want to ruin next years sport .
  10. Yep........best way in my opinion. Put a bowl of cooked and a bowl of raw down beside each other and see which is eaten first . But be sure to make the change gradually, as with any change in diet..
  11. My "Home security" is still in the installation phase at present
  12. Use this everyday..........this is my second puma, i have just changed my 07 SWB 90 xs for a 110 double cab, due to an unplanned increase in the number of dogs......... Love it, love it, love it........ The next door small holding has a 3.0 litre double cab (brand new as well) Toyota Hilux, He still pops round to gloat over the 110 ...........apparently his wife liked the leather seat in the Hilux
  13. What about a kennel companion? Is he on his own? Matty
  14. Ya jammy git!! You know exactly where my scope money went :realmad: Its still eating me out of house and home Shame about the tick mate........... Looks a nice bit of kit..........hope to keep my next 'sale proceeds' out of the wifes hands a bit longer next time myself!
  15. Likes her men short....I think she has a dwarf fetish!!

  16. Depends on the water and whether the fish are shy or not. If they are heavily fished for on Natural baits, used man-mades. If the are on man-mades, try naturals. If they are used to a single hook bait, use try a mass particle baiting program, I used to favour chick peas or maize (properly prepared), I would then fish a single contrasting hook bait. Such as a Scopex pop up. It also depends on what other fish are in the water. If there is predominately carp in the water, try 3-4 pints of maggots and a maggot medusa type bait........(if eels are present, forget it.) In warmer temperatures, h
  17. Vasectomies..........not castrations.. It is so that you can use a hob to bring a jill out of season without kits or the cost of a jilljab. It will have no effect on there behaviour.
  18. I had one of my hobs done last month. Poor wee bugger is still bald. But he's back in with the girls now, so he's happy!!

  20. The other thing to consider is that you are introducing the kit to the jill in the jills teritory. It may be worth introducing them again in neutral teritory which can the progress to the cage, if you intend them to share.
  21. Firstly, a dog pulls because it thinks it know where it is going. So put the dog on a lead and start walking in a large open space where you have plenty of room. Then as the pulling starts, immediately change the direction in which you are walking.. Its pyscology!! It gets the dog out the habbit of pulling because it no longer knows in which direction to go!! Obviously this requires repetition and consistency over a period of time. See how you get on
