  1. Yep, .22lr is the best way to serve an apprentiship. Make sure to practise on paper at varying ranges first! It dont cost alot to run either..so get shooting!!
  2. Bloody expensive too.... I priced up an air rifle in there once, it was a full £100 more than it was elsewhere. Problem is he's got very little competition round here, and can get away with it. if anyone who isnt a prick in pembs wants to set up a hunting, fishing shop , youd make a fortune I know the one you mean Very old school, very pricey, couldn't give a shit unless you want to buy one of his six guns he has there, hence I don't go there apart from to annoy the man. I was in there once and he gave away a pet hate. He hates Semi-Auto's to be called such and believes they sh

  5. I had a Silver medal killed on my land last year, I had been watching him........... Found him with his head hacked off and thrown in to the ditch. I was not amused.......he desrved the casserole pot!!
  6. My own personal regime is to feed in the cage at night, never in the court. They only get water in the court. They get fed dry every day, but sometime only a very little. I aim to put fresh meat in the cage at least 3-4 times a week. The hobs eat a back leg each in one go, the girls get a carcass to share(minus legs), which can last 2 days. In summer I change to feed only enough that i know will get eaten overnight, plus a little dry. But my cages are in a shed, so meat is fed at nightin the dark, and I have a UV lighted trap on all the time, so flys are seldom a problem.

  15. Are you getting it in Scotland? I tried and failed, so went the reloading route!! Peter from Tayside shooting supplies tried a couple of times, but failed on lead time.. Can you not find someone with a press that you can buy dies for? I did...accuracy is far better and a fraction of the cost. I would consider Privi if I could try a box, but i'm not going to buy a hundred until I know how it works.. Have been in touch with Henry Krank who sell it and they said they are quite happy to supply Weldon Gun who I buy my ammunition from. I like you would only like to try a box first to see

  21. I think it was Stubby that had a swimming pool first.........anyway, i copied it and the ferts love it. Someone also had a pair of wellies with the toes cut off, they love that too. I also lined my court with bark chips, which is about 10" deep. so they can dig and tunnel as they like. But their all time favourite play thing is an upturned dog bed, with the fury bit on the bottom... They sleep under t in the day time.
  22. As allready stated, in general, the term Ferret or polecat refers to colouring these days. They can interbreed. The ferret in the top pic being an albino/polecat cross. This being a ferret This being a polecat (masked marking)
