I have some pics of a wild beaver, taken on the Cotswolds a few years back, which is quite amazing as they don't exist either, I will try and get them across to my iPad so I can stick em up if anyone is interested, and know it's not just some fat bird from Gloucester with her growler out, it's a real life wild beaver, Haha I've seen a few nasty beavers but not got any pics. Lol.

    My season is gonna be delayed slightly thanks to 10 pints of scrumpy and a broken fibula. I was just building the dogs fitness up nicely. They were all doing 10 mile by the bike and 5 mile of interval training with sprints and steady jogs. But that's me out for 6 weeks minimum now so it will be mid September before I can look at getting them fit and mid October before they are anything like. Gutted isn't the word.

    This is definitely footage of a big cat..., a big black domestic moggy. The distance plays tricks with the eyes and perpective of size. Same as footage shot near the Faslane naval base a few years back. Last time I put that video up I was told it was only the size of a normal house cat. They must have some bloody big pet cats then.     I've heard of a few spaniels dropping in but then other lads say it doesn't happen. Never realised you lost one to ground mate. Sorry to hear that. I've heard stories of whippets and small lurchers getting stuck to ground. Her bellman and flint is on order mate and she's staying on the lead until then ?

    You can't be comparing adults on a hunting forum to kids chasing round nonsense characters on a phone? Can you? It's not about being anti-technology mate, sure technology can be a great thing. But there's gotta be better things for kids to be doing than spending their childhoods caught up in it. There will be plenty of time for that later on.     My old red bitch broke 3. It was 50/50 between lads saying leave it to heal and get it taken off. I've spoke to lads who had them off and they never ran the same again. But I do believe that if you're gonna have a toe removed then a rear outside toe would have the least impact. I always allowed them to heal and it was much quicker than I thought. But she always had hassle with them and they would be saw after a good night on the lamp. All the best with whatever you do mate.
