Raw Fed Dogs Any Health And Performance Benefits?
Gaz_1989 replied to reddog70's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Haha fair play mate. Sounds like you go to alot of effort but if it suits you and your mutts then that's the main thing and nobody can knock you for that. What works for one man won't work for another so we have to trial and error and find what works ? -
Raw Fed Dogs Any Health And Performance Benefits?

A crate soon sorts that mate. Mine all get fed in crates in the garage. Kennel and house dogs... I wouldn't let them loose in the house with a chicken carcass or meaty bone like you say. -
If you fancy the field service engineer side then have a look at the casino industry. I did it for 3 years and thoroughly enjoyed it. Equipment is a doddle to fix it you're electrically and electronically minded, decent pay and a nice clean atmosphere. But again lots of evening and weekend work.

I nearly took a job with them around the time I started on the roads. If I'm not mistaken they come under indesit. That's who my correspondence was with. I will try to find the emails. It was £28k salaried. I can't remember what the hours were and there was alot of weekend work.

soon has hes had his first jabs lol Just don't give him drontal and milbemax ffs. Haha. As I said to you last night mate I'm over the moon for you. Congratulations. -
The polar bear enjoyed that day lol ....... Lol. He sure did. Bolted a few fox with him since you saw him ?

I went and gave socks a hand earlier this year on one of his jobs. That was also a solar farm. It's safe to say there were a few bunnys knocking about...

So which is it then fella? You work your dogs all over the country or you only work them where you know the location of every single hole like you told me to do earlier?I'm getting confused here. Lol. I can't stop her killing ferrets with a shock collar so I don't think I'm gonna stop her dropping below if she wants to go. It's one of the problems with taking on older dogs but I wasn't naive or unaware. It is what it is. Gaz when you get an invite to somewhere new then the person who's land your on surely knows where the earth's are?been years since I've just rocked up somewhere and cracked

Was she stolen? No she was to ground

Slightly off topic but you mentioned work. I think it's a joke that lads can't take recreational drugs in their own time without being at risk of losing their jobs. I'm in the same boat. Get random drugs tests at work, for cause drugs test if anything goes wrong on site, plus drugs tests for every new contract. And 6 monthly by the health and safety guy to top it off. If I have a sniff on Saturday there is no way in a million years that it's gonna ever impact my work on a Monday. But I would lose my job because I would fail the test. It really boils my piss. And I've never been

If I had a tidy ferret I would of lent it you mate ?
-
Maybe you are correct in thinking I could be correct. But maybe you're not. Lol
-
If work wasn't chocka I would book a week off and do it with pleasure. It would be couple hours drive but the £50 would cover my fuel and a bit of grub so everyone's a winner. I just can't get the time off at the moment.

Has the CCTV produced anything. Don't give up hope. Are you on Facebook? Social media is a powerful tool. Much more powerful than I realised. I had my terrier in the house within 40 mins of her being found. A woman posted on Facebook who's friend of a friend was friends with one of my missus friends and recognised the dog from our missing poster. A few private messages later and I had the address.

Lol there's always that possibility fella. Like I've said a few times mate I don't know if a locator would of helped me on this occasion. Unless she was in an earth less than 50m away from the furthest earth I checked on the land then the bellman might of assisted. But we will never know... At least then I won't be wondering what if or thinking I could of done more. Missus is paying for the bellman and flint. Her treat she says. Late birthday present. So doesn't matter too much anyway. Haha.

Haha I think there are all sorts of weird and wonderful crosses out there doing a job. I love seeing that Pom of Fujis.
-
I'm with you there. I've got a knob head, dick head and wanker. They all respond to either. Lol
-
I'm assuming he's had a potential customer contact him about a rabbit problem and if the right man for the job comes along he will pay them to carry out the work on his behalf? But the right man may not come along, or the customer may change his mind if it takes too long to find said man. Therefore he may have a ferreting job for someone or he may not. I may be way off the mark. Or maybe not. Lol.

Made up for you pal who says plummers won't stay to ground, 5 days is some good going! Haha thanks pal. I think she's got the record for Plummer below the sod. Lol
-
Sorry to hear your Russell is still missing. My thoughts are with you and your family. I hope she turns up.
-
Yeh that makes sense mate fair play. I love ratting and had the terrier for a bit of that aswell. But then I shoot a bit so spaniel could come in handy for that. Although the plummer picks up for me air rifle shooting.
-
It's just tight bramble, tight hedges etc mostly with small rabbit runs. I've been told the spaniels will smash all cover as well lurcherman but why do so many lads use the terriers for bushing then? Or cross terrier and spaniel? As said I ain't knocking spaniels or ruling them out. I'm gonna see some work this winter. Nice one teckers. You could say that. Lol

Update On Jasper - Lots Of Pictures
Gaz_1989 replied to Olivia Marie Whiteside's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Hopefully first of many. Nice one. What's the red thing around his snout? -
I think after I told a few people about you trying to groom me and Tommy27 at ferreting it's put a few people off. Lol
-
Ive said before I don't think a spaniel will touch this Plummer for working cover around here. But she has been ranging a bit far recently and working more for herself than for me. And this last week was the result. Which is where the spaniels come into their own I guess.
