Welcome to the forum Kevin, I hope someone helps you out but I have a feeling you have more chance knitting snot. Have a look around and read some of the numerous permission wanted threads. -
There are some good threads on here regarding this topic, full of useful info, I think trapperman had a good thread I will search out the links. Spend the winter sorting out the equipment you need and a suitable site. Hopefully come next spring you maybe lucky to get hold of a swarm. The bees will look after themselves.

Cheers lads, had a crack tonight and got another 60 between two of us, just on the lamps. Still plenty to go Coypu, the guns there to be used mate, not to look pretty and the cow shit will wipe off When your as rough and clumsy as me.................!!

Had a mate call today to ask if I would have a look over the rats. He said there was part about and true to word, there was I had a couple of hours wandering about with the S10 and flattening a few. I will land back up another night when I have remounted and zeroed the 550. The best year we had on this spot we shot over 600 rats throughout the winter. I don't think that tally will be beaten but there's some good shooting to be had. I ended the night on 56, I would have happily stayed longer but the mist and rain rolled in limiting visibility. I have loads of tarps free for collection only. From Keighley West Yorkshire. These are all from the the various projects linked with the "Tour" bike race. Fairly thick plastic and measuring approx 10x10 metres a piece. These were not cheap..!! We have no use for them but perhaps someone will. Enquiries by PM please

Chances are that you observed a bit of young mole activity, surface routeing and sporadic tumping. Kicked out of the territory and off making their own way. See it as a brief and temporary victory. One which won't last...!!
