Thanks, I get the webbing and adjusters from a local shop but you can buy them on evilbay. Car seatbelt works just as we'll if not harder wearing.

Thanks lads, I will keep you updated. As it happens I unknowingly knew a ratty expert and I've had a good kick in the right direction after a phone call. That said I'm now £85 lighter on upgrades. It could become addictive.

I have just bought my young lad a dog of a ratcatcher, it's not in the best of fettle and was held together with wood screws It's all there, we'll all the important stuff and when I stripped it the insides seem to be in good fettle. It's going to receive a good spit and polish and if he gets on with it , I will convert it to run on an air cylinder. I'm doing away with the plastic stock and will make a shorter one from stainless rod and a nice bit of timber. I have all the screws ready to replace in stainless and will be getting a new and longer cocking bolt turned next week. Any of you

Challenge it. You did pay and display You just didn't stick it to the window and the ticket blew off the dash. After all, you have a valid ticket. Personally, I'd just ignore them and see how far they can get with their threats, remember, it has to go to county court before any enforcement can be undertaken. To which you will get an invite and an opportunity to present your ticket. I wouldn't pay them fook all. That's providing it's a private firm. If it's the council then get your appeal in sharpish, because if you miss it and it goes to judgement. You will loose. -
