  3. Hi Rob. It's all in jest mate. I don't for one minuet believe he didn't take the shot. He could have probably done better though if he had been shooting a daystate
  4. And mk6's on occasion are not the best in my opinion.
  5. If your getting power to the switches then it's not the power chord contact. Motors testing ok and brushes are fine then it's the pcb.

  7. Might get a potato gun ! Probable better than a Daystate At least all you would need to worry about, would be the quality of the spud
  8. £46 +vat bit over the top for that i think but the other one i think i will go for Because its a genuine BSA gauge. Nothing wrong with the cheaper versions. Your only using then as a rough indicator as they are not that accurate. Or in your case, to fix a leak!! Have you broke the gauge? or are the threads leaking?

  12. it will have little or no riffling if it has been converted to 36bore I will get him to have a look. I have only seen the rifle via pictures he sent me. Thanks.
  13. It's a 303 SHtle. Not sure what MK but 1915. I couldn't say if it's been bored but barrel definitely blocked.
  14. Cheers joe but I interperited that to mean it needs a mark and a cert.
  15. Hi lads. A mate has been offered an old 1915 Lee Enfield rifle. It will be gifted from his elderly neighbour who has no deactivation certificate. The old boy (95) has had it deactivated but can't find the certificate nor remember when or where he had it done. The barrel has been blocked at the breech and the bolt has been tinkered with. How can this rifle change hands and how can he obtain a cert for it. Thanks.
  16. I got a midnight knife blank from a member, and for two years it has rattled its way around the van dashboard. Well I finally got around to doing something with it. A good member on here turned me some 8mm brass pins. 2mm wall thickness for the front and 1mm for the back. So a lanyard can be fit. I used a lump of yew for the handle and with a bit of fettling and a pollish I have ended up with something half right. I could have used some nice burr I have here but as the blank wasn't grade A and being a first attempt, I didn't want to risk ballsing it up. Plus for a working knife and kno
