And the name Booth appears in the same fecking post ,HOF like i thought a load of old bollocks to catch gulable twats.... -
Easier to hide under the jacket carried like that and been saved more than fecking once due to it to,had a chink doe and a hare one day strung up like that and a wild fowler and his collection of spaniels and labs came round the corner of the reed bed and thank god i had my lurcher on a lead as she wasn't to dog friendly and she was bearing teeth so i stepped back into the reeds to let him past and he was none to the wiser to what i had under my coat..

What terrier is sharp on a recall when their noses are down or the minds occupied somewhere else, but at that age i wouldn't worry as it's just going through that stage of being a dickhead like they all do..
-
On wet ground i saw bull x's and other heavy dogs not do so well as the lighter boned ones and that good dog i knew was a merlin and eve bred dog..My own bull x was taken enough times to have been fit enough and to have had the knack sussed so she didn't suffer like others did.

A collie or fast lab could take a chink on arable land and totaly unsporting with a running dog imo and if we were just running for sport rather than just for the pot we'd wait till after xmas when the meadows were half flooded or the arable good and soggy. Then you get some of the best small deer coursing you can think of and i heard "that's dead" a few times only to see the chink hit some water then fly off and the dog hit a dead end.. Reproduction they do all year round where it's mild enough but in all the numbers we took i'd say we only had a dozen or so carrying young,so maybe just a

Chinks can be roe size in the body but with shorter legs and munties are smaller and maybe 1/2 grown lamb size,it's the fight in the munties that makes them harder work but not every one fights back..

Nice to see a bit of Hashish for a change...

Reds,Roe and Munties on one of my shoots for terrier work and i can find roe and munties without fail on permission 10,15 mins walk from my front door....Maybe i should rethink about getting another runner .....
-
Munties live in on arable with good hedges and semi woodland and some do really well in towns and cities where the houses have big gardens.Iv'e seen them in the middle of both Ipswich and Norwich as well as many other small market towns in suffolk and norfolk ,the chinks in east anglia stay on or around wet land or river course land. Chinks on arable land are silly easy and a cur can pull them, run them on a semi flooded water meadow and your'll see how much gas is in your dogs tanks as they spin like a hare and run like jesus across water. The hair on a chink is triangular in shape rathe

Iv'e in the past taken hundreds and hundreds of chinks and when i say hundreds i mean just in one season with lurchers and never once did any of them put up any sort of fight, mind you the best chink dog i ever saw (took 64 out of 64 slips before he missed one one winter) got his days ended by a muntie buck who put it's antler through the dogs neck and out it's ear..Some lads on here saw the land with some of the numbers on it and that was after a few years of us getting into it as such, was hard work at times but also bloody good fun and it is a shame my lurcher days have gone now but don't hav

Lived in many a bender tent built of the very same thing, few car windscreens around the edges for some extra light inside...
-
When i read his question i thought 1950's due to the trailer and the tent, recon by the 60's the old tent was a rare thing to see seeing as your people were starting to live more on tarmac than country lanes and commons as such..

Unless your a keeper or a paid pest controler all killing of "pests" is done for fun or sport so the morality of killing things is out the window anyway with 99.9% of field sports folk,as for knowing about what they kill well there's plenty of trespassers that come into the countryside in many different guises mate and many wear tweed..

The law states they all have to die seeing as entering a terrier to ground can only be done in the name of game bird protection and letting them run free ain't in the name of game bird protection, also if you want to rerelease a fox somewhere else then the best of fecking luck to you explaining why you have a live fox in a box and terriers, locators and digging equipment all together in your motor if you get pulled over by old bill.....

That Fallow head has to be the best deer head of any sort iv'e ever seen and that white red is something else as well...
