    Cant go into too many details but the long and short of this post is that there are currently two rspca officers that take it upon themselves to lure terriermen into letting them see their dogs under the pretence of being interested in terrier work ,befriending lads on the internet then meeting at their houses.Few weeks later a raid occurs.The names of these officers are Mark Walsh and Pete Rice .Very real do not ignore .Keep changing usernames on all the main sites so admin needs to be aware too.Be very careful ,trust no one .

    Sorry to hear about your loss mate ,they really are assholes.Just read all this through and the kennel fight dosnt ring true.Does the charity not kennel dogs seperately even from same address.My gut tells me she was destroyed intentionally ,then realising the intent passion you have, a botched attempt at producing a body was brought forward.Did they force entry to start with without an officer present ?Can't get my head round you not been charged yet won't return dogs .More to this sinister affair I feel .Hope you get satisfaction mate.ATB FD

    Lovely pics of the fox mate .Just in myself from a early walkout to watch the heronry nearby .Theres a pair of egrets nesting there too this year as well as a raven on the end .but what a noise .Dont posses a decent camera .

    By early are you talking about Dereks root stock because it certainly wasnt red .Just trying to establish when the reds were brought in .Must be someone on here who has records of past breeding .Genuine question .Chocolates are a black mutation but red is a different type altogether.

    Back at a place local to me out with George again .Plenty of sign here with every field showing the thrashings of a buck but as yet only one grassed early season despite seeing deer on a few occasions .One very good buck here which will hopefully fall in the rut but several lesser 4 pointers to sort first .Decided to walk the boundary of two farms back to back which proved a good choice .The evening was very still and muggy with thunder forecast and the going was slower than usual .George had borrowed a pair of bins which took a bit of adjusting on the straps before he was happy but we got the

    To the OP.If you are the dogman you say you are then why the feck are you asking for a carcass on here ,go get your own ffs .Much much more satisfying and cheaper .In my opinion for what its worth dogs pass 70% of any rich protein source so why waste it .Unless you are mixing it with white meat i see no gain to feeding venison to dogs unless its free eg road kill .So you see why people are a bit confused by your post asking for venison for the dogs ,like feeding cats on caviar .

Tried to establish that years ago mate but Mr Wheeler was a bit coy over what his base was .Suffice to say it all goes way back to the dawn of the black terrier .I was told from the very start of creating a line not to worry about names only that it worked and came from a line of workers .Like it or not most of the early beginnings had good amounts of bull added im told by a few old boys that were there .The true Wheeler was /is something special thats for sure but not for everyone and is the ideal outcross for a terrier lacking a bit on the

    My earliest memories of Wheeler bred dogs were of prick eared terriers with the white blaze .Very volotile ,quick to take offence .Very dog aggressive ,easy to start work hard to break off .Used a few over the years ,one called Flint from original kennels .Personally think the type needed watering a bit which is why i used the fire over laid back Nuttal bitches and never looked back .Never saw anything but black back then but thats only my take on it .

    After all the rain of yesterday it finally gave out to give a sunny evening and we took the opportunity to get out with the rifle .Went to a place where id recently seen a young buck whilst out with the dogs .Bit breezy but at least i knew which way to go round .The corn had been recently sprayed i think as we could smell a hint of something as we brushed through it so no deer at this end but an opportunity to check a few earths nearby to see what was using them and sure enough cubs which will have to go .
