    As a whole does it appear a bad winter for mice indoors .Most people i know have had them as well as us and im damned if i can find where their getting in .Trapped 9 and appears to have stopped.long tailed field mice as norm.Mate is on 23 from his garage and neighbour caught 12 in two days .Question -do those wooden traps need tweeking as had bait stollen several times

    Those chains dont look up to holding much in the way of livestock mate .Id be looking towards a holder of some kind with the lock being to stop whatever it holds from being spilled.

    This bit of banter isnt about quality of dogs or how many is dug in a season its about the overall chap doing the digging and his take on welfare of pups .Your dogs may be be all that fella but your wording and obvious disregard for welfare puts you down there with all the other dog dealers ive met and lets face it you ve had a few throughout your yard .You are still welcome here , not as any macho showdown just come and work your dogs .

Ive seen the type of pup you produce in other lads yards suffice to say that cutting them back at that age never lets a pup achieve its growth potential.As said you are welcome to bring your dogs here for an honest day of graft .

    From a purist gun dog perspective I have to agree mate but how many springers are expected to pull wounded deer in the same season as pointing game for a falcon in the right environment.I've seen GWP take fox in the beating line and been impressed although the owner was horrified .Seen one stop a gut shot fallow buck too in fine style .Of all the miscelaineous breeds to add to a running dog this can only be to the good.All specimens I've encountered of GWP type have been headstrong as you say but to use the collar is to admit failure IMO.Good luck to anyone considering this cross .
