  1. Dont call myself anything just do what i do you fuckwit
  2. This will run and run with those two defending the "sport" brigade .I do what i do and no amount of shitty posts will change that .We have plenty of foxes here much to the farmers dispare. .I really would like to meet a sheep farmer that had a good word for foxes or crows or ravens for that matter .The likes of these two from over the water is what f****d it all up for us .Terrier work is much much more to me than a jolly out testing dogs .The sport aspect implies we breed foxes for our amusement a fine way to treat a farmer that lets you on for control . Let them be ,a sentiment i will try
  3. Pic below bittern is a fallow display area .The vegetation has been thrashed .Soon to be a rutting stand .
  4. Ok .Cards on the table .Personally i will never use a dog of mine over anything i dont want back in the future .Simple.Call it selfish ,call it what you want but dont call it the ruination of anything .Why anyone with a good line bred dog would want to spread it about is beyond me unless money is involved and anyone with a good scatterbred is hoping wildly that he will produce and bring a name to the dog.Someone cited greyhounds as an example of why to put dogs at open stud and ill tell you why .The gene pool of dogs making the grade is much ,much smaller than you might imagine in their world
  5. My only criticism would be the ears .Never seen a fox, mouth open without his ears back .Think about it .Watched many in natural surrounding not just hunting situations and they greet each other open mouthed but always ears back .The mouth and eyes are perfect though mate .
  6. Very good mate .Might use you in future .
  7. Foxdropper, with this line-breeding and you seem to come across as you know what your talking about if for instance you have a very tightly line bred dog and bitch and you breed these, what percentage of the litter would you expect to make the grade as i read where a lot are saying if 50% make it there happy,my question is why should they all not make it if they are bred correctly? Personally i would expect 75% of a litter to make what i consider useful digging dogs ie stay till dug to .I get where your coming from with why not all the litter and i dare say some people would keep the other
  8. Would this be what you shy away from or still denying they kill lambs.Sorry if it offends anyone but control is control whether its a day old or not
  9. Failing that a .22 does the trick .Had them before that never really in .
  10. Cheers, D. LMAO.. Yous ejits easily ammused. I was told before i joined this site i would meet the likes of yous. Would expect it from english but not from the irish Why not just f**k off then and amuse yourself somewhere else .Ive seen what amuses you in other threads and i wasnt impressed either.I see spelling not your forte either
  11. Any breed no matter what is only improved by breeding tight to desirable traits.Thought that wold have become clear on here with the threads of late.
  12. My moneys on it never happening .More tories opposed now than ever.
  13. David Cameron u turn on hunting vote .Shafted again .
  14. Seems strange that a bird with a brain the size of a marble could have any changing characteristics but its true they do .A nice mix of types is what we got and good husbandry sorted the rest .
  15. Travel or lack of it also played a part as did the right to fully test a terrier .IMO a true stud dog worth its weight in gold is one that will throw time and time again to type bitches .Ive said it before but a dog to me is the backbone to any line and should be used until he is just reaching old age despite the old saying .i try a few dogs whilst he is alive just to see if they throw what i want and to provide another stud .Casualties do happen and you have to think long and hard about a replacement .I think nowadays people are too quick to use a dog just because it works even if its thrown
  16. Nobody but nobody is saying its great to dig cubs .Unsavoury to me too but ill do it to help a landowner thats let me on in the first place. Some of us do it to pay the landowners back for allowing us on their land unlike some who just take ,take and take some more .You crack on in your bubble ,hope you and the biggest terrierman in Ireland are very happy in your new ralationship ,lol.Does it mean if some dig cubs they aint decent lads or would you subscribe to the fact that it has to be done but not by you .
  17. Nothing on here for anyone to be ashamed of is there .Deleting implies we have something to cover up .Terrierwork is part of ongoing fox control for many and as such must remain so .Its the farcical season talk that bears ammunition the to fact that we enoy it and seek to preserve the fox so we can enjoy another season of it .The fact remains that no amount of winter control will leave you cub free in the spring which is when the damage is done
  18. Would rather be a bank robber than a baiter, and if I was I would not admit it on an open forum like you did.Watch out for Philpott. Trouble is mate ,the fox gives nothing a break and youve seemed to have lost the reason why you are invited on the land in the first place . Im invited on the land to hunt not to kill. But you have your ways and I have mine Shite and you know it
