  1. I keep reading these posts about Scotland and as a proud Welshman who after the 1992 general election got really cheesed off with the then constitutional system .....I keep asking myself the same question, is there another constitutional status that could work for both Scotland and the UK? We have other parts of the UK, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Mann Crown Dependencies - Wikipedia who do have very strong local autonomy/governance but are still part of the UK...comments??? Cheers. Aled

  12. The welfare state should be a walking stick to help people through difficult times, not a crutch they cant do without. Interesting what people are saying about young people on building sites, yes i am a graduate, but from the age of 15 me and all of my mates found summer jobs, and most of us waited tables, pulled pints, etc, the best summer jobs were labouring on the building sites as it was 9-5 work, Monday to Friday, better wages than the restaurant and your weekends were free. If you wanted extra hours, they were sometimes available. Those summer jobs on sites were keenly contested!

I count fishing as a type of hunting so other than my family commitments....i do a bit of gardening and grow some of my own vegetables. Used to play amateur rugby and cricket so i watch quite a bit of sport supporting our local clubs. Love reading i always have a book on the go, reading a Susan Hill novel at the moment. Visit the gym twice a week with my son and i try to run 5km or cycle 10km every week.
