  8. i think it all depends whitch single farm payment scheme the farm is on some of them state that shooting vermin/pests should only be used as a last resort . you need to try 3other methods before shooting WHAT A FARCE!!!!!!!!!! And allow all that lovely tasting meat go to waste! I think we all know where they can stick that idea. Al

  13. Nice flies Smudge. There is something theraputic about fly tying, until the thread snaps on the last whip finish! Had a good clear of the fishing kit this week. 6 weeks until the begining of the sea trout season. Flies are not too bad need to tie about 10 sea trout flies then sorted. Roll on April the 1st.   14. Saw the first lambs a week or two ago but to date nobody has complained of any foxes. Probably due to the good work of the local hunt! Nice bag Foxhunter. Aldoc
  15. Cracking bag, cracking location. Try explaining that to certain townies that what you love doing takes you to some cracking locations. Finally this may be of interest gutted and skinned rabbits were going for£3.50 each in Cardiff market just before Christmas. Cheers Al

  18. May be of interest. There is a local farmer who does not allow ferretters on his land because he believes that they carry mixi. He's not an anti as he rides with the local pack. his own words are "i like to see a few rabbits on my farm," Cheers Al
