    Now; Bill might shoot me down in flames over this... BUT, in my mind, there is to much "stop" over the eye line and the nose, and the ear carriage isn't right, for this to be the "Doxhope" look !! It's nose almost has that "Roman" look, but not quite. Of course it could be Doxhope bred, and be a grand dog, but to me, it hasn't got that "Doxhope Deerhound" look ! Not that matters one iota in a dogs performance !! Cheers.

    I was running the dogs in Ireland two year ago, and a guy came up to me and said "is that a Doxhope bred bitch ?"; I said "yes. how did you know that ?"; he said "you can tell by the head" !! Cheers.

    dhxgh are verry brainy i don't no why people say they are not a dh is the brainiest of the sighthound family evert dh x i have had have been far frim stuppid Sighthounds by their very nature are not the brainiest canines, and I can't see how you come to the conclusion Deerhounds are the brainiest Sighthound ? Brainier than a Whippet; or a Ibizan, or Pharoah ? Why do Sighthounds need to be "brainy" ? There job is to run down quarry by sight and speed, and they do that very well !! Cheers.

    There's a well known Cumbrian Terrier man who's brother makes these, but puts a metal frame around the entrance to prevent chewing. I've seen them and they're great for terriers ! Cheers.

    Most Lurchers are placid, but why a Lurcher for a house dog/pet ? Will you also work it ? If not, then it's not realy fair on the dog. Why not just get a pet type dog ? Cheers.

    Exactly wasteing Public Funds , taxes and Police time when there are Rapes, Murders, Child Abuse, Burgalrys,Violence to deal with. I Honestly believe a lot of Politicians nowdays have their own views and become a politician as a means to their own agenda and not for the Good of the Country and Electorate they represent. Any sensible Politician from any Party should be able to see that Reinstating Hunting will Create Jobs and Wealth,Free up Police time to hunt down Real Criminals.
