The final of the Masters is on just now. The young Chinese lad, Yan, 20 year old, I think, is playing brilliantly ! 67-0 down clears the table to draw and wins the re-spotted black ! He's potting balls that the "elite" players would be proud of. Its 5-5 , but I think the pressure of being in a Triple Crown Final against Higgins, may just get to him. Cheers.

As a "right winger" the left automatically label me as a racist, oh ! If they only knew ? They automatically label me as anti immigration, but I'm all for controlled immigration; I'd rather have an Indian nurse than a Bulgarian Big Issue seller, or have a Japanese scientist than a Romanian pick pocket, but that doesn't fit in with the Lefts narrative ! Its getting more and more like Orwells 1984; right is wrong, truth is lies........ Cheers.

Yes, I agree that society, and people, are polarised these days. Left or Right, EU or Brexit, vax or no vax, etc, etc....... People latch onto something and simply won't accept another persons view or opinion. Theres an old saying, "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing", and no more so in the Covid vax debat, suddenly everyone an epidemiologist or virologist ! Life isn't black or white.....there's a huge grey area where things overlap. I spend an awful lot of time studying things before making a decision, probably to long, but being retired I have plenty of time on

To me, this all relates to The Grebsters post on Lewis Hamilton....... Can you admire and appreciate someone's achievements, but think they are a dispicable person ? I think , yes you can, but there's a moral dilemma in buying their merchandise, but listening to music they produced for other artists opens a whole new debate. Cheers.

I don't know, but I'd guess it's up to the Mayor or Governer of each State to make those decisions, not the President or the Federal Government, unless there's been a state of emergency declared. Cheers. Just had a look, the Posse Commiturn Act prevents US regular troops being deployed on US soil, that's why it's the States own National Guard that are being deployed, so it's a States decision, not the Presidents.

Trump, like Farage, didn't fit in with the "Establishment", simple as that. Hughly popular with the people, but too outspoken for those in power. The media hates them both, the voices of the SJW, Woke, snowflakes on social media are far louder than the silent majority. Only time "They" got beaten was Brexit and Trump becoming President, and it's quite obvious how much "They" hated it, and will do everything in their power to make sure it doesn't happen again. I know, mate. When I came back on here after a seven year break, I promised myself that I'd be polite, not slag any one, and not get into arguments. So, in that spirit, all I can say is Mark certainly puts game in front of his dogs, and has travelled extensively to run them against anyone and anything. I haven't a clue ! Im not even an expert in my own profession, let alone epidemiology. Ill assimilate as much information as I can until I have to make a decision on wether to have the jab or not. Cheers.

I said "if the airline or country say I must have the vax, then I'll probably have it " If there is information down the line saying there is a possibility of serious side effects for my demographic, then I won't have it ! Do you understand what '" on the fence " means ? I don't know yet wether I'll have the vax or not. Ive been 100-% honest and consistent with my view, I don't understand why you can't accept that. Yeah, it's been going around in circles for a while. There are those implacably against the vaccine, and those implacably for it, then there are those like me who are on the fence, waiting for more information before deciding. No one is going to make you have it, or stop you from having it. Quoting unreliable or fake news or even wild conspiracy theories, by both sides, isn't going to convince me, either way. I'll make that decision myself, based on the information available to me when my time comes. Cheers.

Just watched it again. Professor Susan Hopkins.. She said a small amount of people who had recovered from Covid had later became re-infected, but the symptoms were not as severe as first time. She also said having recovered from Covid gives just over 80% chance of immunity for around five months, then decreasing over time. I don't know how accurate her assessments are, there are sure to be other experts who disagree with her. Once again, this is why I'm on the fence until some definite data is available. Cheers.
