Fettle had that many litters she must have thrown something....... Cheers.

The way I see it Wilf, is she wasn't getting anywhere with a criminal case, so she went for a civil case. I guess her lawyers decided his vast wealth, friends and contacts meant she had a less than 50% chance of winning, so best to settle and let the court of public opinion decide his guilt. Then the law decided to try him on criminal charges, and, as we know, he was found guilty, jailed and more than likely "suicided". So the victims got some small comfort, justice and retribution, and Virginia got a payoff, most of which I would guess went to her lawyers. Epstien is dead,

I know the judge and both sets of lawyers are having great difficulty in understanding and deciphering the agreement, but to me, basically, anyone who knew Epstein can never be sued , ever, by Virginia Guiffre ! Surely that can't stand ; a convicted billionaire peadophile can protect his mates forever by bunging her $500,000 dollars ????? Cheers.

Me and LDR used to take my old Doberman out with Bruce and Delta, flushing roe. She's mentioned in one of Darcy's books. One time I was just walking back from my Allotments with the Doberman and a lurcher when a 'keeper and his two mates threatened to give me a hiding. I said if you can get past the Doberman, you're welcome to try. She just gave him that teeth bared stare that only Doberman can, and he decided against it ! ? ! Cheers.

I've allways had a bit of permission for rabbits, pretty barren, but comes in handy if you get the pull on the way home. My brother and I have had permission for ferreting, lamping, but mention coursing and your more likely to have the police called than get permission ! As for the age thing, if I'm out daytime, just me and the dog, I've 100% more chance of walking away from a pull, than a couple of young lads with a leash of coursing dogs and a Subaru ! ? ! Believe me, I've been in that position more than once. ? Cheers.

I've never had permission to course hares, even before the ban. Its allways been illegal for me, so no change. Will a magistrate put a 70 year old man who's dog run off and chased a big rabbit in jail ? I doubt it. Going team handed to course hares, hundreds of miles away is a different story. Stay lucky, lads ? Cheers.

"If........" Cheers.

A mate of mine went in Poundland and asked "where are the microwave ovens" the sardonic shop assistant looked at him and replied " over there by the flat screen telly's "........ True story. Cheers.

Any cyanoacrylate super glue will do. I use the stuff from the Poundshop ? Cheers.
-
Depends on the cut. I use super glue for a lot of wounds. Cheers.

Could "gavver" be a corruption of "gaffer", (boss) ? I know black Americans, and New Zealand Maoris call police "boss". Just a thought ? Cheers.
-
What's it slang for ? Ive heard of peelers and all the other slang words for police, but never gatherers. Maybe p***y speak ? When I read the title, for some reason I thought it was some new type of womble or clanger or borrower ! ? ! Cheers.

He's been in the pay of Russian and east European oligarchs for years...... Cheers.

D I thought RAW was raw minced food and BARF was " bones and raw food", bit pedantic , my dogs get both. I've got a good supplier now, raw minced chicken, green tripe, salmon, offal or mixtures of them, 60p per pound. I get all the bones, beef and lamb and chicken carcasses for free from a local butcher. Kilo bag of chicken wings from Aldi or Asda for £1.80. Its easy to feed a dog well. Cheers.

Let's not forget who brought in the ban in the first place ! I'll give you a clue; their ex leader has just been knighted........ Cheers.

Chizzy has hovered around the top 16 for years, he's a great "floor" player, but when it comes to the latter stages of the big, televised tournaments his bottle goes and he's never really made the big breakthrough. The standard of darts is amazing now, my missus must get sick of me keep telling her that her old pals like Bristow and Lowe would be lucky to make the last 16 of the major tournaments ? They are far more confident of going for shots like double double, and double bull now. When they are in the mid 300's they are then throwing to leave a finish. Look at the " 9 darter"

Smith does that regular as he nears the business end of a big competition , shame, as he's one of the most natural throwers on the tour. The only one of the three missing that could of won it was Van Gerwin, and he's a shadow of his best, Chizzy is another that bottles it under pressure, and Vandevoort isn't good enough, but I agree, the question will allways be asked " who would have won if MVG had played". I also can't get away with Wright, but fair do's, he's been the most successful player on the tour this year. Cheers.

SIR Kier Starmer has said Blair deserves to be knighted ! Well, he's not exactly going to complain about a Labour leader getting knighted , is he ! ? ! Cheers.
-
I like bully boy, probably the most natural thrower I've seen, but he's a bottler under pressure. Wright was changing darts in the middle of games, mad, but it works for him ! Well done ? Cheers.

I might come 9th, just slightly above the Afghan !?! Cheers.

You both seem decent lads.... you don't resort to abuse, and use a bit of humour. I like that ? Cheers.

I've thought for a long time that the coursing dogs and the non-ped whippets are two types of lurcher, ( I know, I know, they are technically long dogs), that are breeding true to type and could be thought of as separate, speciality breeds, perhaps "hare dogs" and "race dogs", although I doubt "hare dogs" would go down to well these days with certain sections of the populace. Cheers.

I'm still teaching him. Hes a work in progress ?? Cheers.

Start my 70th year on Sunday. No real worries or problems. Champing at the bit to get this pup started ! Cheers.

Wasn't it £3,000,000 and you become a party treasurer and got a peerage ? Then you've got Prince Charles; £500,000 gets you a CBE, £1,000, 000 gets you a knighthood and a British passport if you're a rich saudi. Cheers.
