As the great Eric Morcambe said; " if I had feet like that, I'd walk on my hands ! " ? Cheers.

Dunlops were the wellies to go for years ago, then Mike Ashley bought out the company, moved production to china, and the difference in quality is obvious to anyone of a "certain age" ? If you honestly believe that Dunlop wellies are better than Altbergs, I'm going to have to set you some serious homework, and re-double my efforts in educating you ! ??? !
-
Don't mock the Dunlops, mate ! They have their place. I've got two pairs of Altberg Defenders, both gortex, one pair summer weight, one pair winter weight, gifted to me by a member on here, who would like to remain anonymous, but is famous for his philanthropy, loooking after the old, and his support of " Care In The Community " ! ??? ! I also have a pair of Fat Mikes £9.99 Dunlops ! The wellies are fine for a walk down to the Allotments with the dogs, but for coursing, lamping, ferreting, hunting, it's got to be the boots, every time ! ? ! Cheers.

The citizens of the EU don't have a say, though ! Even their governments don't have a say. Its the Commissioners who make the laws, and the MEP' s just rubberstamp them . The EU is about as democratic as Russia, China and North Korea ! Cheers.

The sad part is, with an eighty seat majority, the tories could have forced through a right of centre manifesto. Smaller government, low tax, less laws, reclaim our borders, sort out the Northern Ireland/EU mess. OK, the Covid pandemic may have overrided everything, but this tory government still looks to me far to centrist/left of centre. Labour is still a far left party, so there is no one on the right, surely an opportunity for a Farage and the Reform Party ? Cheers.

Lamping hares is to fill the freezer, and should never be confused with the sport of day time hare coursing ! ? ! Cheers.

The EU want the Ukraine to join, the Russians don't , couldn't put it any simpler. Cheers.

"Sensibly" is the operative word ! ? ! Starting a dog too young, or over matching a young dog can damage it physically and also mentally. When to start a pup is a matter for the owner, they should have a good idea when they are ready. My last Beddy type started at eight months and had a long and decent career. My last deerhound type started at 12 month, and also had a long careeer. They were different physically and mentally, the Beddy type matured far quicker. So, I guess there's no real answer as to when you start a pup. Cheers.

I guess it's all down to man and dog as to when it's started. A dog man who spends a lot of one to one time with a pup will have a good idea when it's ready. Ive an eight month pup here who looks like it could pull a bull down, but it's still a daft pup ! When it does that mad, full speed, pretend coursing around a field, you can think " it'll kill a hare , no problem" , but a puppy playing around in an empty field is massively different to being towed around on a grueller ! Mistakes can happen when an unexpected one jumps up, but try and let them be pups, don't ruin

Some weird contrails in the sky over rural Northumberland today; Maybe some pilots playing a huge game of noughts and crosses......or an alien advance party, mapping out a landing grid ? ?? ! Cheers.

To be fair to the Septics, a fair chunk of that budget goes on defending Europe. Trump was pissed off that most European countries didn't meet the agreed 2% GDP that was agreed on for funding NATO. If it wasn't for the Americans huge military might and nuclear deterrent, the Russians would probably be massing on Germany and Polands borders instead of Ukraines ! Cheers.

Anyone with a running dog is "suspicious" ! People with every other type of dog walk all over the fields around here with impunity, try it with a running dog and the farmer, 'keeper or some busy body with a mobile phone will be on you, even had the police helicopter on me a few times as ive walked the two fields from my house to my Allotments. Even had the 'keepers at my door, even though there is a public right of way across the fields, and I confirmed with the land owner, the local council, that I'm allowed to walk across the fields. Owning a running dog these days marks you o

We're not sending billions of pounds to an unelected, unaccountable politburo to spend on vanity projects like moving the whole EU shebang between Belgium and France every month, just to keep the french happy ! No doubt the money saved will be wasted by profligate politicians, but I'd rather we might see something of it here, than it disappear into the EU financial black hole that refuses to be audited. But then again, being a jingoistic, chauvinistic English man, I'd rather be governed by a British government that I can at least have a vote on electing, than a foreign set of Commiss

Yesterday Kier Starmer slaughtered Boris at PMQ's. Boris looked like he was about to cry. Today it comes out that a senior Labour MP has been taking money from a Chinese spy and employing her son , in Parliament, as a researcher. That should move the narrative away from Boris and his Xmas party. Coincedence ? Cheers.
-
Never liked Barry Gardiner, smarmy, snidey Corbynite. Took £500,000 from a Chinese spy and employed her son as a researcher until this morning when parliamentary security and MI5 paid him a visit. Boris's Xmas party doesn't look such big deal now. What will Kier Starmer have to say now ? Cheers.

Frost has a peerage, he'd have to renounce that and be voted in as an MP before he could be Prime Minister, but I think he would do a good job ? As ive said before, I'd like it to be one of the "Spartans", preferably Steve Baker. Cheers.
-
Farage had a job outside politics, he was a commodities broker, o.k., not exactly your ordinary blokes job, but he didn't come out of university, clutching his PPE degree and go straight into politics as most of them seem to do. His entire political career was geared towards one thing, Brexit, and when that was achieved he stepped back from politics. Hes got a career as a commentator and interviewer on GB News now, and I'd recommend anyone with an open mind to take a look. I'd like him to take over from Richard Tice as leader of the Reform party, and I'm damned sure he couldn't
-
A lot of the back benchers are, not so much the front bench. Id like one of the "Spartans" to take over, maybe Steve Baker. Cheers.
-
Doesn't matter if he doesn't turn up, the case will still go ahead without him. My guess he will just ignore it, or keep appealing. Maybe mummy will make him Governor General of some south sea dependency to get him out the way. Cheers.

I remember Max Hardcore entering a retired coursing bitch in one of the lamping competitions, and evidently it brought the rabbits back to hand as fast as it went out for them. Now, don't get excited mC, that was an exception, I've seen very few Salukis or Saluki hybrids do that ! ?? ! Cheers.

We live in a democracy, and as Churchill said " Democracy is the worst form of government........except for all the others that have been tried" ! We have the vote, and as was proved by the Brexit referendum, democracy does work, despite all the fitht columnists and traitors who tried to block or reverse it. The next General Election will probably result in a hung parliament, as the "red wall" voters who voted Tory to get Brexit done and keep Corbyn's Labour out of power, will most likely desert the tories. However much of a mess the Conservatives are making, be sure it will be

Marrow bones, free from a local butcher. Pup gets one every other day. Keeps her occupied and good for her teeth. Cheers.

He wouldn't be for long, just 'till the next GE. Pedantic, I know, But he's of Indian decent and a Hindu. Cheers.

I bet most people did........but we didn't invite over a hundred people to a "bring a bottle" party ! ? ! Cheers.

A lad who had an allotment next to mine worked for a large bakery and got me 25 litre tubs of broken and misshapen energy bars for the hens and high calcium baby rusks for the dogs, for £2 a tub ; Sadly he left the job, gave up the allotment and moved away..........selfish c**t ! ? ! Cheers.
