South Shields ! I spent a bit of time at the Marine College there . They are called "sand dancers" , evidently because a lot of Yemeni Arab seamen settled there one time. Strange place, not really sure if they are Geordies or Mackems. Cheers.

You could have added ; in the 2020's they were skateboarding with green protesters, taking the knee with BLM, asking eco fanatics if they were comfortable and did they need anything as they glued themselves to roads blocking people from going about their business and stopping ambulances taking dying people to hospital, or watching on as environment protestors block fuel depots....... I knew an Ethiopian labourer who spoke Aramaic, Arabic, English and Italian. A fiancé of my son spoke English, Arabic, Xhosa, Afrikaans and German, she was a diplomat. Kinda shows that learning languages can be a gift, no matter what your background. Cheers.

Have you ever thought that Russia hasn't got the up to date, state of the art military infrastructure that the west has, because the politicians and oligarchs have raped Russia of its money and resources ? Surely it was Russia that pulled out of the Minsk Agreement when the Russian Duma voted to recognise Luhansk and Donetsk as independent republics and Putin stated "the Minsk Agreement no longer exists" ? Cheers.

Spent a bit of time in Texas and the sporting goods shops are unbelievable ! Also spent a small fortune in Sheplers western clothing store. Big supprise was seeing all the fishing gear in "normal" supermarkets ! Rows and rows of it. Gunshops, hunting outfitters, I could spend hours and hours just taking it all in ? Cheers.

The money being paid for fully restored lambretta sx200, gt200, tv175 is insane. It would be madness, in my opinion to chop these. Dont know about Vespa's though. Ss90 Vespa fully restored in origional spec go for big money. Cheers.

Back in the days when the Exchange & Mart was the equivalent of the Internet for us older folk, it was easy to send birds, ferrets, dogs, etc, unaccompanied, by rail in the guards van. I don't know if it's still possible, or, indeed if trains still have guards or guards vans ! Cheers.

This banty would hatch two Cayuga duck and four Bovan hens eggs without any worries; Ive got a "standard" silkie that will sit a dozen mixed hen, duck and game bird eggs. Just now I've got an American game x Bovan sitting half a dozen duck and hen eggs, she could easily sit more. Cheers.
