Thanks for the reply. I, personally think that Starmer will say anything to get in power. He courts the Muslim, far left and anti semetic vote, has no relationship with the white working class, and will try his utmost to take us back into the European Union. Dont get me wrong, the Tory’s are almost as bad, but we need a reset, and the only alternative are Reform ! They might not even get a seat, but they may make the Tory’s get back to being a right of centre party ! Cheers.

I will enjoy the conversation if it stays sensible, but do you think Labour will be any better than Tory ? Cheers.
-
Grebby, I think that maybe, just maybe, a Thatcher is just what this country needs just now ! The Tory’s have gone so far to the left they are indistinguishable from Labour. Every one of the political class are only looking out for themselves. I know he isn’t everyone’s favourite, but agree or disagree with him, Farage is our only hope ….. Cheers.

My daughter died a long time ago, but if some c**t flashed her Id slot the c**t without a second thought…harsh ? But in my mind fair ….. Cheers.

STOP f***ing BITING FOR FUCKS SAKE MATE !! LOL !! Cheers.

Wel, firstly, I don’t think family should be mentioned. Secondly, there’s a school of thought that thinks minor crimes that go unpunished lead to major crimes . In this particular discussion, that policeman who raped and murdered the woman had been caught flashing twice before and no action was taken. Gassing flashers ? No, I don’t think so, but treat it as a serious crime ? Yes. Just my own opinion, of course. Cheers.

Where was the outcry when the police baton charged us on the countryside march ? The police and politicians will take the knee for Black Lives Matter, paint their cars in rainbow couloirs for the queers , but if it’s miners protesting for their jobs and communities or British people marching for their way of life, out comes the batons and riot shields ! Remember this when you are voting this year….. Cheers.

Having a practice run ! Boiling some tatties at the allotment; Not really , just knocking up a mash for the hens ! Cheers.

Evidently after last nights American attacks in Syria and Iraq, Hezbollah had announced its suspending attacks on American assets, and Iran has announced its pulling its Revolutionary Guards out of the region. Perhaps Iran has realised you can only push America so far ? Cheers.

I didn't know you'd been down there, mate ! Who did you hunt with, I might know them. Cheers.
-
Another time I was down there, not hunting, just visiting friends, a lad I knew who designed golf courses was taking us around and showing us some of the courses. I saw some big reds on one of the courses and he was pissed off ! He showed me pics of his Toyota pick up that he’d hit a red with.. it was a right off ! He didn’t like ‘roos ! Cheers.

I mention on another thread about a man who was judging a “bull cross” class and he said he would never put up a marked up or brindle bull cross ! Yep, that would be a hell of a working bull cross that didn’t have a mark on it ! Cheers.

That’s why I liked judging whippets; they have a breed standard to compare each dog against. With lurchers you can only look at conformation and condition. Some look like they are workers, for obvious reasons, others look like they’ve never been off the lead. Don’t take it too seriously, take it as a day out , meeting old pals, making new ones and seeing dogs of all shapes and sizes ! Cheers.

I’ve judged a lot of shows and yes, the “working lurcher” class is a strange one. I once asked a woman what work her dog had done and she said “ it chases squirrels in the park” ! Cheers.

100% correct ! Why would I slip on something that I can run anytime a few hundred yards from my house, when I have the chance to slip on something I went halfway round the world to experience ? These were lads who’s main quarry is fox, but we’re good enough to indulge me on running something I might never get the chance to do again. Cheers.

We had eight confirmed and two backfilled in a couple of hours one morning; Cheers.

I think it would be impossible to eat anything these days that hasn’t got preservatives or additives in it. I like to eat wild game, but who knows if the crops or grass they have eaten hasn’t been treated ? I feed my poultry with wheat straight from the farm, but I’m sure the fields will have been treated with chemicals. The birds drink rain water collected in butts, not tap water, but who knows how pure rain water is ? I use my own compost on my vegetables, made from chicken, horse and cow manure, but what have the cows been fed on ? I just try to eat healthy and not worry

Not exactly a billabong, but the foxes hung around the small reservoirs dotted around the place and there were some setts around the banking. Only place I’ve seen black swans in the wild. Cheers.

We were beating a small conifer plantation in the middle of a huge area of arable hoping to flush a few ‘roos to run with the lurchers, but Sod’s law, there were hares shooting out in all directions but not a single ‘roo ! After I came home, I was talking to my Oz pal and he said he shot 25 hares at a farmer’s request, the lads I met had no interest in running hares, they were far more interested in fox and pig. I was quite amazed at this as the huge areas of land and numbers of hares would be a paradise for coursing. Cheers.

I’m sure you can get an Irish Republic PPS number even if you were born in Northern Ireland, just by proving your identity with a passport or birth certificate. I could be wrong as the rules are a bit convoluted regarding Irish/ GB rights. Cheers.

Failed to get granted asylum TWICE, accepted the third time! Michelle Dewberry on GB News says he should be hung. Whoever in the Home office signed off his third asylum application should be charged as an accessory! Cheers.

Abdul Shakoor Ezadi……..good old Geordie name ! Rumoured to be an Afghani refugee. Cheers.

I thought LPD may have been alluding to the Anglo Saxon word “moot” , meaning meaning place, as in the old Moot Hall in Newcastle, formally an assizes and Crown Court, a place I have not so fond memories of from my fairly frequent appearances as a foolish youth ! Cheers.

I don’t think it’s possible for a normal bloke to “prep” for a nuclear Armageddon, but we sure can do some sensible preparations for the power outages that might be coming if the eco lunatics get their way with net zero. Torches, batteries, even a small generator to power a small electric heater and tv to keep up with the news, battery radio. One of those small camping stoves and plenty of gaz canisters, and tinned food. Plenty cartridges for the 4:10 to deter the scallywags from raiding my allotment for the eggs and veggies ! LOL ! Cheers.
