While we’re on about lamping Joe, remember these batteries I got off you about 15 years ago ? Well, with sensible rotation and trickle charging, I’m still using one of them ! None of that fancy Lithium Ion here, old school, me ! (Or some may say tight f****r PMSL). Cheers.

I can’t remember, it’s from an old iPad that doesn’t seem to show the details like a more modern iPhone. I had Delta with me and I got her in ‘06 and she was two or three, so it was probably about ‘09. Cheers.

Alan used to be on here; shame he isn’t now, his input would have been interesting. His dad raced non-ped whippets at the same tracks as me back a long time ago; I wonder if it influenced Alan’s “need for speed” in a coursing dog ? Who knows, just a tenuous but interesting connection between whippets and coursing dogs. Cheers.

Old deer x and a pair of coursing bred pups. Five off the first field in a few minutes, it was slaughter so went home. At least the pups saw a bit. Cheers.

No mate, I got beat in the quarter final one year and the semi final next year. Bruce won the comp both times it was run. I had Bruce in my kennel a few times and he was class day and night . Cheers.

Bruce was got from the Cat & Dog Shelter at 6 weeks old; sire unknown, mother a greyhound. Mark walked in the final when he was getting beat 11-7. I don’t blame his dog, Kat was a handy bitch. Tomo was judging. Delta was; sire first cross beddy/grey; dam whippet/grey x Deer/grey. Only 23” but a decent bitch ; Cheers.

I’m getting old Joe and the challenge just isn’t there anymore. As far as young mC is concerned , he couldn’t hold a candle to the likes of Mark and Whin when it comes to wind ups, but he is a trier ! LOL ! Cheers.

I never said anything like that! You said a saluki would add speed to a non-ped whippet. Utter nonsense. Greyhound and whippet is added to saluki to give speed in the hope of achieving the former’s speed and the latters staying power. You know that, I’m sure. Cheers.

I watched the ones I ran in their country of origin and the ones I’ve seen run here. I’d better go to the whippet racing and tell the people who run dogs that have been bred for 150 years to be the fastest canines in the world over a sprint distance that they’ve been doing it all wrong and need to cull all there whippets and get salukis ! Its a good job I’m thick skinned ‘cause they will laugh in my face ! LOL ! Just when I thought your saluki tinted glasses were slipping……. Cheers.

It’s genuine Harley Davidson, they just outsource their accessory manufacturing, just like most companies, Barbour, Hunters Welly’s , etc. If you were to boycott ALL Chinese products you’d soon be walking around naked , cold, hungry and most likely no ‘phone !
