  1. Same, also slipped a dog on rabbit over the fence over the brow out of sight from a gate, next thing dog retrieves live may I add a decent sized cub over the fence, it was locked onto her collar, she was none the wiser and with her being under a year and her first one I was quite happy lol

  3. is it beardy X you keep ForesterJ ? How long have you been into them>? yes mate, 15 year Beardie x's 32 year collie x's all together. what attracted you to the beardies mate, and what type of hunting do they suit - it might be a stereotype but ive always thought of them as more independent than the border x , hunting further ahead ? also harder headed and probably would have been better suited to the fox job in days gone by ? any truth in that? I happen to know a certain bloke on here ran a big beardie Hancock x that was demon on teeth by all accounts.. Big lump of a dog.

Out of hours vets are run by PDSA my way made a right mess of my bitch which my vet had to fix, my vet then gave me his personal number as he knows I'm out most of the weekends and things can happen then, and said don't phone they b*****ds just contact him direct.
  16. My mates whippet had what appeared to be a bramble scratch on the inside of his back leg, no bigger than his pinky nail. By tea time it was slightly bigger and the next morning it covered most of the inside of his leg, he was trying to keep it clean and the skin was just coming away in his hand so it was off to the vet, turns out he'd picked up a flesh eating bug and was extremely lucky to have caught it in time and extremely unlucky to have picked it up, does anyone know how common is this? As I've only saw it once before a few years back again it was a whippet (coincidence?) again a back leg
