  1. Yerr, that’s a great result fd, good shooting fella. Six is a cracking tally, well done??
  2. Is it an A612 Mark? If so, I think they’ve got a pretty good reputation for reliability. Are the parts readily available and reasonably priced? Might be worth trying for a claim for parts maybe, you never know?
  3. Might be just a plastic tub to you SD.................?
  4. That’s true enough. I’ve shot twos and threes sat together with hmr many times and they’ve just sat there looking around until you’ve shot them all.
  5. Anybody seen my bath? I left at home in the hedgerow where I live and now it’s gone? bugger.......
  6. I’ve been using the .22 h&n slugs in a standard x twist barrel and it pretty much puts them through the same hole at eighty yards so I haven’t even thought about a different liner. Is the .25 more fussy than .22 maybe? I know they’ve had problems getting them to work well.
  7. Keep at ‘em bn, good shooting fella ??
  8. So probably not worth the extra over a standard spare fx mag then?
  9. If it’s shooting high you need to pack/raise the front mount. I don’t know how subtitles help though??
  10. Nice shooting cragman. What home load or factory ammo are you using in the hornet if you don’t mind me asking?
  11. Great write up again Ian, and an equally good result. I’m the same with horses, can’t stand the bleddy things. ??
  12. Yerr, spent half my childhood shooting at tin cans and stuff. Just a bit of fun, and as you say, nothing serious or competitive about it. Avin’ a play and a grin.....??
  13. In the interest of science, I did a highly technical test on a salmon tin. Set out at eighty paces I set this tin can on the ground. Not a particularly small target and no challenge accuracy wise I just thought I’d give the jsb 18.1 grain pellets ago. I didn’t know how they would perform at that distance on a fairly tough, (for a tin can) salmon tin. Anyway, I could see the holes appear in the tin as they hit home. I had to grin a little when I retrieved the tin. I shot around ten to half a mag of pellets at it, didn’t count but none missed.
  14. Not to worry Mark, I think I’ve missed a few ?. Always next time.?
  15. I’ve come across these on fleabay, a bit expensive at £96. Just about double the price of the standard fx sideshot mags. They’re made from aluminium, has anybody had any experience of these or heard any comments good or bad? I’m thinking, are they expensive because they’re really good, or are they an expensive disappointment? ? I’m interested in getting a spare mag and just happened on these.
  16. Absolutely, couldn’t agree more?? Reading that just took me to the moment ??
  17. Yeah, not more than six in a group though, from Monday ?
