  1. I’m after a pair of black brogues, size 11 if you have any in stock ??
  2. I know it’s tongue in cheek SD, each to their own, everybody’s different , I just prefer sxs, many hate them I know ??
  3. I’d agree totally with what lip says. Also, although they will go higher, 26-28ft lb in .22 is a sweet spot for rapids in terms of efficiency if properly set up. I fitted a dr bobs quick fill adapter and gauge to mine. £100 but well worth the modification if you intend to keep it long term. No more pi55ing about taking the bottle off to charge it or wondering how much pressure is in there. Olde Skool they maybe, but the strength and quality of engineering makes them a solid investment that will keep working with minimal and relatively easy servicing.
  4. Obviously personal preference SD, I haven’t had an o/u for years, and I can’t see me having one either. I much prefer sxs, but I’m no clay shooter and I see o/u as clay guns? That’s just my opinion though of course.?
  5. I was expecting to see a pile of dead mice ???????
  6. I just knew it SD ? U couldn’t last long without a .22?..............See what I did there? ? Haven’t tried them yet SD, but I’ve got some high velocity eleys to compare them with. I’ll let you know ??
  7. I can’t seem to find a website. I paid £12:49/200 tin of h&n’s and £10:00 for 200 jsb knockout slugs. Edit to say I’ve found it now. My bad.....
  8. Some of them just don’t give a sh1t and you’re banging your head against a wall with people like that ? they simply don’t care and nobody is going to make them see sense. That’s their attitude.?
  9. Nowt wrong with .22 for knockabout. Versatile and cheap to run, I just picked some of these up yesterday. Yerr, they’re high velocity and solid, but at £2:95 a box......can’t complain, they’ll do a job, and for peanuts ?
  10. Good luck with them vm, hopefully they will be as good as the .22 version. It’s taken a while it seems. I’ve just bought some more 21 grain yesterday, I wanted to try some different weights as well, but they only had 21g and 30g in stock. I bought one tin of 30 grain. Might be a bit heavy, but what the heck, it’ll be interesting to see how the perform anyway. ?
  11. Ok, thanks. Any idea what power range they’re at VM ?
  12. Well, I’ve been having a bit of a play with the impact to try and find a good useful power range on the dial and air flow valve, without needing to alter either the reg pressure or the hammer spring tension. At the moment its on 95 bar reg pressure. I’d appreciate any feedback from the FAC air lads on here, who know more about this than I do, regarding my current set up. First, using jsb 16 grain exact on minimum setting on the power wheel, and air flow on the first line they’re doing 737fps (19.3 ft lb). Air flow on line 2 they’re at 778fps (21.5 ft lb) and on line 4 they’re doing 811fps (22.
  13. Good shooting, what calibre Mark? ??
  14. Yer, good chaps at custom stock. I had a cs700 made for my hw99s and because I collected it they didn’t charge me for the skip checkering and they fitted it for me as well. Had a good chat with them and they showed me the machinery and how they make the stocks. Very friendly and helpful I found them. ??
  15. Looks like a good job, what stock have you ordered? I didn’t think 95’s were that heavy though. You got got noodle arms? ?
  16. It’s just been on the news about the cull in Belper starting on 7th September. Everybody interviewed was against it of course. They mentioned the leaked document in the news report.
  17. Well done fella, that’s good news indeed. Enjoy your shooting ??
  18. I thought this album might come up ?
