  1. Just spit my cuppa down me ?????ffs.........️
  2. Yerr, that’s a good price for decent quality ammo. That’s if you can get it of course. I’ve had the same thing before, bought some federal dirt cheap and they were really good. Went back for some more, all gone and didn’t find any more the same for ages. When I did, they’d sold out again. Haven’t seen them since. I’ve got some Aguila to try, £2:95 / 50box but if they’re good, they’ll soon be gone at that price. I like rws rimfire ammo, not the cheapest, but I’ve never been disappointed with it, bad batches etc.
  3. Looks nice that, I think it looks better without a mod on anyway. You’ll be ok with earplugs fella??
  4. I haven’t seen the Winchester’s in that box for a long time SD. I’m with you on the new ones. I don’t use them any more.
  5. I haven’t bought any for a while, but saw these at around a price I’ve paid for them...
  6. Im sensing that it’s maybe not your favourite then VM? ?
  7. Yerr, still wearing your welding mask?
  8. Nice one Stav, Alan Titchmarch would be proud of that job??
  9. Had a bit of fun today, three of us, two .17 hmr’s, one .22rf, one hw100 .177 and one fx impact .22 fac. Started at 50 yards and moved back to 100 yards. At 50, the hw100 couldn’t really be beaten by any of the others for accuracy, we had some paper targets and golf balls, tin cans, tiny apples etc, nothing too challenging. After we moved back to 100 yards the hw100 went back in my pals car as this was a bit far for it. Anyway, once I was on the right mill dot, the impact was hitting golf balls every shot, and one of my pals said, I’m going to shoot the orange ? golf ball that’s on a string
  10. Yerr, you’ve got to be careful as it would be possible to lose your tickets for what might be a relatively small oversight.
  11. With regard to transporting guns, the inside of a vehicle is classed as a public place when the vehicle is in a public place.
  12. They will know about it for sure, so declare it. It’s been a long time passed since then, and if you’ve been a good boy since, you should be ok. If you don’t declare it, it could go against you though.
  13. Glad you got it sorted Mark. When I was a lad, I used to shoot crows with an old bsa single magnum. It was a light gun and my uncle and his mates used to give me eley magnums to use in it. They used to laugh every time I took a shot, and only just managed to stay on my feet?
  14. If it’s for foxes Phil, the hornet hits with much more authority than the magnum rimfires. Great for most vermin really, if you’re shooting rabbits though, and you want to eat them, head shots only of course?. Lovely calibre imo. If you’re going to be shooting mostly 150 yards or less, the hornet is plenty really, and a relatively quiet report.
  15. Yerr, probably best not to shoot the farmers cat?, would likely have been your last visit ?. Good result in the end anyway cragman??
  16. I think the HV’s are so cheap because there’s only you and me that buy them SD?
  17. I picked up Remington .22 hornet for £20/box 50. That’s virtually hmr money. Going back to .22rf, which federal .22’s are you using SD? I found the federal classic HV hollow points very good, and only £3:00/box.
  18. You won’t regret it Gav. I use my hornet more than hmr, better all round imo.
  19. Well, you can’t argue with that ?
  20. ???bored with .22’s he said. I knew it wouldn’t be long SD. I’ve been using the s&b shorts myself. They were dirt cheap and work a treat. Good shooting fella ?? and welcome back to the fold?
