Pop goes the weasel, keep getting them, saw a stoat last week as well. It nipped into the undergrowth. I was up in Sheffield today, plenty of squirrels in the botanical gardens. You wouldn’t need a gun, I could’ve taken 30 of the little blighters with a cricket bat?

I could, depends where the squirrel feeders are. If they’re on one of the shoots there’s pheasant feeders aplenty so wheat doesn’t have the draw. In some of my woodland wheat will be ok in winter, plenty of beechmast about at the moment though.

Yerr, they were eating me out of peanuts after two days on the last feeder I set up. What are you using in feeders Ian? The peanuts definitely pull them in, but not the cheapest.

Semi auto or hushpower pump shotgun for drey poking and chasing them around the woods is great fun. air rifle on feeders .17 hmr when they’re out burying nuts in the open fields and I’ve run out of mice to shoot ?
