  1. That’s bbc for you. However, bbc bias is being investigated due to complaints on various matters.
  2. Good shooting vm, but I still don’t know why it’s far better than .22lr ? Don’t get me wrong, I love fac air, but I’ve shot more with .22 rimfire than any other calibre, shotguns, rifles and airguns.
  3. I’m with you on the bagging wheat SL, just spent all morning bagging up and taking bags out...
  4. Hmm, couldn’t rule it out I suppose Phil ?
  5. I think I’ve read that these have a lothar walther barrel in .22 and cz barrel in .177. They’re also available in .25 I believe?
  6. I remember the operating manual that came with my sharp ace pump up rifle. It quoted..... “Applies three or two drips of engine motor oil to each three parts of the pumping pines” and also tells you that the rifle is suitable “for small game and shooting”. Loads of useful information ?
  7. Looking pretty good Phil. What’s the cycle action/side lever like, smooth, notchy, tight, sloppy? Does it compare to the wildcat? Also the trigger, good, bad, indifferent?
  8. Me neither, terrible ‘innit’ ?
  9. All the snap caps I’ve had have been duds............ ?
  10. I didn’t get any, the girls ate ‘em all. Greedy buggers?
  11. That’s about right Stav, after some comments I heard from some trigger pullers who don’t appreciate what gets done, I’ve decided I’m doing fcuk all next season. I’ll keep on top of vermin though because I enjoy it, anyway, on another note, we’ve got spooky crumpets for breakfast.......happy Halloween, cheers??
  12. I think for me, it’s that I don’t really use hmr anymore. Mine hasn’t been out of the cabinet since before covid. If .22 rf isn’t enough I’ll go straight to the hornet which with the price of hmr ammo is now cheaper to shoot. That said, my hmr is a nice little truck gun so maybe I should dig it out for an airing.
  13. One of my local shops is out of 17 grain hmr ammo and only has cci 20 grain, which is ok, but at £22:99 for 50 I’ll stick to reloading my hornet thanks. Prices are getting daft for these in my opinion. That’s where the .22 does rock?
  14. Yerr, delicious them crows and wood pigeons ? ?
  15. Just had a look on fleabay, the .22 mags on there look like ten shot?
  16. I’ve got to say Phil, it looks good in the photo ? hope it’s works well too.
  17. Ahh, a bit less than I’ve seen them at, they’re 600 in a shop near me
  18. Second hand deal could be good. I was thinking £600 new then add whatever it costs to get it sorted (whatever that entails) and the price is going up to maybe a used wildcat or verminator etc.....that’s what I’d be considering ?
  19. It will be interesting to see how they compare Phil. I often look at these cheaper versions but at £600 I’m not sure I’d take the plunge. I’m usually of the buy once cry once, buy cheap buy twice sort of thinking. Half the price of a wildcat, but is it half as good? Might be better than half as good. Either way, it looks interesting ??
  20. My gat gun will kill any alligators in my area??
