  1. I've known his old man for years, top fella and as you say can spin a yarn and ad a good crack with. Actually lost touch years ago, but good to see them on YouTube doing well and happy.
  2. That pic reminds of a scene from paddy and max. We're paddy goes for a job to be an extra in a movie and turns out to be a gay porno and there is a few bodybuilders posing when paddy bursts through the door. Willy Wanker and the Chocolate Factory .........take 1 lol.
  3. Watched a decent film the other night on my stick thingy, a new 2022 film out called LOU . I enjoyed it. Sorry can't put a trailer up for it as useless with that stuff lol.
  4. Be a belting little moocher for a young un, and nice genuine offer. Shame nowa days all the youth want bull crosses am afraid.
  5. After carefully reading this thread, I listened to both sides of the fence. Absorbed it all and came to my own conclusion. Man up ya fanny..........lol In all seriousness I've never ever had permo. But I've also never boomeranged back on any ones land who's been kind enough to take me out. Lurchers were born and formed around hopping the hedge for as long as they have been around, that's just the way it is. But I've also never left gates open or had woody pullers either. And even if you are poaching you still respect the land !! Sure I've been caught on land and also
  6. Big fish little fish cardboard box lol
  7. I have always been a cash person. I own and run a small business in food retail and up until a year ago we was cash only. I had no choice but to take on card payments as the staff was losing sales as people would walk out saying Apple pay only ECT. Our cash sales have roughly halved, however sales have increased due. I was at the accountants last week and he was saying people generally spend more on card when it's just a tap and don't always check the price on items like they would if parting with hard earned cash. I do find this true. I am old school and always have cash on me and vary rarely
  8. Barry Grant would show you southern pansies a thing or too
  9. My new name for you is either Mc Escobar or Pablo Hull ......lol
  10. Not just to see a pheasant jok no, handy for all sorts of things. Just to be out and enjoy being out in the night and see various wildlife. Also back in the day when I was younger and poached the odd rooster with a airgun, never took a light or owt. Just looked for the silhouette and shot plenty with the right nightime conditions. Am also sure a thermal could let you know of any two legged wildlife approaching you, so you steer clear of any potential trouble. We used ride horses before cars come along, and use gas lamps before electricity. But we all moved on, so no I don't think the old ways
  11. Yeah mack. Plus just enjoy being out and about and seeing various wildlife
  12. Terry it's opened my eyes, just been having a mess with it. But am pleased and it will be a handy tool.

  16. Right camping kettle is coming out the garage and am lighting the log burner tonight and trying that. I wonder if them cast iron kettles are any better ? Got a cast iron frying pan I use in the house and camping , it's seasoned to fook and don't stick and cooks meat lovely on gas or a open fire.
  17. Am kinda on the same thing , but at my business premises. Fookin staff drink brews every 5 minutes. Just got my electric bill, was paying £7000 a year and new bill is £30,000 !! I mean what the fcuk, I no the government is stepping in to help but that's ludicrous. Anyway I actually did think of that idea with a flask. Staff thought I'd lost the plot lol when I suggested it lol
  18. RIP Stu Allan, a famous DJ from Madchester sadly died aged 60. Any fellow mancs will remember Stu from key103 and being an iconic dance dj. I can still remember a guy called Gerald dropping on the dance floor of the Hacienda to Stu doing a set. Stu was a part of us growing up and listening to him in the 90,s.
