As I've got older I think them little whizz bangers , whippets or small grew crosses. Would be better suited , on and off , quick blast and don't draw as much attention these days. Just my view

What net is it Terry ? What Z and mesh size ? Am kicking myself , I gave all my nets away years ago. I had a nice 2 1/4 6z trad 50 yarder off Brain Brinded years ago. Now I've got a thermal I fancy odd trip out again. Not many bunnies about , but could get odd drop. I've just looked at nets for sale and all basket jobs and hardly any trad ones apart from that cheap 4z green ones. I've still got a set of end pins in my garage so I just need the net. Haven't got the time or patience to knit my own.

Genuinely impressed mate, and came with a bag and fire proof mat for under it and gloves. Had it a while and just never got chance to try it. Had a late night last night working and cba going out with dogs this morning so thought av a butty and brew and put it through it's paces. Ad sum crap of Temu lol, but this was a bargain

I got a mini log burner thingy off Temu for £49 for car camping. So decided cook a bit of breaky on it to try it out . Was impressed and cooked pretty quickly. Pics don’t do it justice, it’s only small and legs fold down and chimney ( which is only 26 inches ) fits inside it . Was impressed for £49 and be nice to cook up on when out car camping mooching ere and there .

Yep the whole thing was a piss take and I used to tell all the customers that was gloating that they was sat on there arses for full pay, that we will all be paying it back for years to come. I mean my family member had over 150 grand in bounce back loans and waxed the lot on a new caravan, a bmw M4 and god knows what else he spunked it on.

I stayed open ( food retail ) all through covid , had some staff try it on with me. But the ones that stayed loyal and worked 6 days a week and long hours to keep us open and trading I gave them all a grand bonus each for being loyal and working hard and there still with me today and we only a very small buisness . A shady family relative who had a shady buisness , him and his wife got furlough on there directors wages , plus the government hand out for 3 buisness and got 3 bounce back loans and now they gone bump again.

Back in the day when we was surviving. We used hit this little rural lorry park with hose and 5 gallon drums. We used park down a farm track and go over the fields to it. Anyway my mate decided to freelance it one night with out me, and decided to park his motor right next to the hgv and syphon the derv straight into the 5 gallon drums in boot coz he was lazy . Only his motor slid in the ice and got stuck wedged to the hgv. So he had to go and knock up the farmer. Who came out and it was middle of night, searched his car found hose then kicked fcuk out of him lol. Am still chuckling now ov

I think like everything in life technology moves on , such as mobile fone internet ect . So for me a thermal is just a fail safe and back up , locate quarry quickly and also locate 2 legged trouble coming in various forms. Back in the day when we was running big stuff regularly a tracking collar would have been a god send . The amount of times we have been 4 hrs away from home and slipped in the beam on a big un that can take dogs quite far and our hearts were in our mouths as the dog didn’t return. My mate lost the mother to my own minshaw dog up the lakes on a red hind, my dog returned the b
