  3. Today we did hot pie mushy peas and gravy in a tray . Any pie with mushy peas and gravy £4 or with a buttered muffin £4.30 , would you say that was a fair price ? We actually sold out by 12.30 dinner time , with customers complaining after queuing outside to not have any left unfortunately.

  5. Just had a regular customer in my shop. Turns out he is a professional fisherman called Andy Bennet , just on his way to a match now . I know nothing of fishing and never heard of him in them circles. Proper nice fella , he’s been coming in for a good while . Had a YouTube channel and some decent sponsors he was telling the staff. Just found it interesting. Obviously had to google him

  13. Don't be poaching wallops land , a lot of them sweaty socks got a screw loose. When we used go over the border on the scotch side , the police farmers and keepers always took it personally lol
  14. Back in the day when I used knit my own purse n fox nets. I started out to knit a long net , I only got to about 15 yards and got fed up , so made it into a stop net for ferreting . I was a young lad bang on lamping and chasing skirt when not. So got fed up knitting it, how I wished I would of stuck it out and finished it. I can't remember what year they came out , but I first see the basket method on vhs by Glen Waters . So my old mate made one up , gotta to be honest I was never that keen on the basket system.

  17. Me too especially if your a livaboard like Greyman. That's your whole world and house sunk, must be awfull
  18. As I've got older I think them little whizz bangers , whippets or small grew crosses. Would be better suited , on and off , quick blast and don't draw as much attention these days. Just my view
