Must admit I luv jacket spuds. I also love cooking outside, or in the shed ect. I Got some nice little burners off Temu for outside cooking , one is like a very large fire box and another like a log burner/tent stove , was cheap as chips. Nice to chill outside with the dogs and a little cook up

I thought that this morning , It was torrential and I disturbed a roe and pushed it out of a copse. Then I heard a farmer shouting from the field behind lol. So sneaked off , pissed wet thru lol

Fancy trying Swanndri tbh. I've never liked Ridgeline stuff, had a coat years ago. It was too heavy and sweated my tits off in it lamping , ended up giving it a fella down road who was into his stalking

Nice little 2 peace takedown longbow , discrete and all fits in a rucksack

Just took dog for a walk down woods on my permo and add a little half hour practice. Shooting at 22 paces , so was happy with that

I did mate, till I watched a thousands YouTube vids and practiced every day even if only 10 mins till I picked it up and penny dropped

I bought a Beta Craft fleece smock about a month ago only about £59 ish. Got to say am impressed, I even look like a farmer in it lol

I had no lessons and bought a cheap compound and set it up off YouTube vids and was shooting pretty straight away. I found trad a different ball game, it's harder ( my opinion anyway ) and took me a good while to get a were I am now. I settled on 3 under gap style. But I just prefer trad , I shoot at about 20 yards and can hit the bottom of a coke can, so happy with that. Am sure compound is a lot more accurate, but I do just prefer trad mate

Tbh mate yeah and all the cheap Chinese ones I didn't rate. I started buying my arrows from Merlin Archey UK , just found them better suited to me. But the chinese bows I rated , such as the black hunters and the T Bows ( Hoyt copies ) were great for what I wanted. Edited to add, I actually did get some cheap chinese arrows off eBay for my compound which did shoot fine, but for trad archery a better quality arrow I got better results.

Must admit never had much to do with whippets over the years as I always kept bigger dogs. Obviously before the ban how did they get on with other things ( Only edible game ) ? I imagine game enough, but perhaps not the size and strength there. -
He could always use a bit of talc to pull them on

The Redtail x Harris became popular in recent years for falconry. Our old postman bred them, I seen them them , but never seen them hunt. But heard good reports .
