  12. Good luck with the job greyman. I had a few years down south working the airfields and tips . I was 16 and lived down there a few years , living in caravans and living my best feral life. I worked on RAF Fairford ( American run base at the time ) and did a bit on RAF Brize Norton and a few land fill sites in Wiltshire and Slough . I loved it , flying the Bobs , ferreting , shooting, poaching lol and met some real characters who took me under there wing . Just a few old pics i have left .
  13. After reading this yesterday I watched the first 2 episodes from series 1 last night . Enjoyed it , thanks for the heads up.
  14. Talking of boats, last night I was watching a YouTuber channel and a podcast this girl did. She was a former model and was a playboy girl who lived with Hugh Hefner and did the celeb thing. She was from Winchester and was sleeping in a tent broke and homeless now at the age of 41. She had got enough money together to buy a run down cabin crusier to do up and live on. She was on about the cost of living crisis and how many people were turning to boats. It was an interesting watch .
  15. Fair comment , were we are is in a semi rural ish village right on the edge of the city. There ain't many millionaires per square mile round ere as it's not a affluent area. So we try to keep the prices low and sell as many units as we can and give value for money to make it pay for us. A standard pie in our shop is £2.50 and a meat salad sarni £3.50 with generous portions . Our prices are comparable to other similar businesses locally .
  16. Got in work this morning and new frame arrived , got to say it’s mint !
  17. Yeah ,well me and staff . Cheers
  18. Yeah ,well me and staff . Cheers
  19. Today we did hot pie mushy peas and gravy in a tray . Any pie with mushy peas and gravy £4 or with a buttered muffin £4.30 , would you say that was a fair price ? We actually sold out by 12.30 dinner time , with customers complaining after queuing outside to not have any left unfortunately.
  20. Eye , was out rooting and mooching about at 5am with mutt and catty. My fingers was numb, was deffo a tad chilly lol
