I use Barclay Card in my business. I have 2 cradles and 2 hand sets for when it gets busy. I held off for a good while, then started taking card payments a few years ago. Takings went up, people are inclined to spend more by card. Because when it's just a tap of a card, customers are more inclined to say o give us one of them as well and such like. I now average roughly 50% card and 50% cash sales daily . It's the way forward in today's society. Yet I am old school and always been a cash man myself.

I've got 2 dodgy knees after a slight incident in Puerto Banus years ago lol , but that's another story lol. Have a look at X Boil stoves, they look good and ultralight weight. Or probably a light weight gas canister stove MSR Pocket Rocket or suchlike. I like the Soto Windmaster as the pot supports are more stable I think. Also check out Des Cattys alcohol stoves on Etsy only about 25 grams and can get a Luxada titanium pot stand also about 25 grams ish, but you also got to take into consideration the fuel bottle -

What's everyone's preferred method of cooking when out and about ? I do like cooking on open fire or bush box were I can, you just can't beat it. But if up in the mountains and using a boil in bag meal, I will just use a jetboil minimo. Also have a Soto Windmaster for gas canister cooking. But I do really like alcohol stoves for there simplicity. A trianga or similar or home made affair. What's everyone using ? -

Just bought a new peace of gear, a Outdoor Research Bivvy. Only 484 grams in weight, that's pretty light for a hooked bivvy. Be ideal for a few light weight bivvy adventures here and there. Probably be a few weeks before I get chance to try it as an mowed out in work. Am super impressed with quality of it. Here is a couple of pics of it, sorry for picture quality I think I used a potato to take em lol. -

A good little tent is the Alpkit Soloist, only small but fairly lightish and not a bad price, here is mine on the pennines. Osprey decent packs and I have a ultralight one by 3ulf gear off Ali Express. -
Years ago when I was in the building game I plastered a kitchen for pop star legend Peter Hook from New Order and Joy Division. He was a nice fella and showed round his huge house and car collection. His wife was nice too and a stoner, she would come in the kitchen and roll one and chat away to me. Back in them days I used go for a beer on way home from work and have the crack in the tap room. So I used set my phone to ring at a certain time , then when it rung I'd say out loud " FFS it's Madonna again, I've told her I can't plaster her ensuite till I've finished Eltons down stairs bog ! " all

Another quick little overnighter for a re sett from work ect. Out in Trevor the Transit again lol. I made a diy awning from an old flames creed tarp some tarp poles and mini clamps and wanted test it out. Only cost me £28 to make it. Wasn't bad but needs tweeking. Had burgers on firebox and a few beers and wander with catty and take in the solitude and moors. Didn't see one person or motor , just perfect ! -
Opposite for me am more accurate with 8mm and lighter bands, but prefer 9.5s for hunting. I just think the 8mm may have flatter trajectory and the lighter bands easier to aim more consistently
